I really wanted to like this place given the reviews and how close it is to me but the food disappointed.
The cheesesteak and pork sandwich we got were good. Fresh meats with good ingredients.
The chicken cheesesteak looked great, but was way over salted and over seasoned. You couldn’t taste anything else in the sandwich which is disappointing given the price.
Fries also were also inedible given how much salt was put on them.
Hopefully it was someone overzealous with the salt shaker; I’ll be back to give it another try.

Cheesesteaks are excellent. I've had fries with and without spice, both really good. They have seeded or unseeded.

Vanhorn's steak shop has the best chicken cheese steak and cheese steak with great rolls in Media! To all Judges, Police officers and Lawyers this is the place to go if you want great food in Media. The staff is friendly, polite and the cook Mark is exceptional! Small shop with a big sandwich! Got to give it a try, you won't regret it!

This place is🔥🔥🔥🔥! I don't normally leave reviews but I have to for this one. My husband and I traded halves for the classic cheese steak and fried fish sandwich. They were both were amazing! The steak was seasoned to perfection. The fish was not oily and was fresh. The amount of meat and fish on each sandwich was awesome. We are coming back to go through this menu.
Cheesesteaks are above average, but it was the chicken cheesesteaks that I LOVED. Several variations of toppings available, but I enjoyed all three I have tried so far. If I can resist the chicken cheesesteaks, I want to try the hoagies. But that hasn't happened yet. My only disappointment is with the limited bottled drink variety.

Gave this place a try because I heard good things. I was not impressed, and I've been everywhere. Maybe it was an off day but for 15$ for a cheesesteak that is 8 inches long. The roll was good but everything else was lacking, won't be back.
