Highly recommend! You must go for at least one meal, if not two. We decided that since it had 5 stars, we would try it out for dinner last night. We were beyond blown away by not only the quality of food, but the inviting atmosphere and the amazing staff/owner. We only tried a couple of the items on their menu but look forward to going back and trying more. Anthony’s was amazing. Very authentic New York style pizza. We ordered their wings and fries to tide us over until our 16” pizza arrived. Their crunchy lightly breaded wings were a treat. When the pizza arrived, Francisco surprised us with not a “16 inch pizza but rather a 20” cheese and pepperoni masterpiece that brought me back to some of the best pizza that Brooklyn, NY has to offer. Francisco was extremely accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We took a chance and stopped in during our drive through Scranton from a hard day of Skiing. You HAVE to try this place! Decided to try this restaurant because it was rated five stars and now I know why. Chose one of the specials offered…Ravioli in pesto sauce. Amazing! The rest of the family shared a Hawaiian pizza. The owner chef offered to have the kids help make the pizza and they had a blast. The best I’ve ever had. Everything fresh made. Just as I was thinking there wasn’t anything better than the ravioli, a plate of garlic knots showed up. Proceeded to wipe my plate with them. The atmosphere is amazing. The food is amazing. Okay, if you're ever near Scranton, PA drop into Anthony's Restaurant in Dickson City. It has a 5 out of 5 rating on Google and definitely deserves it. The service was absolutely amazing. One of our orders came with a salad but some he didn't want to have one of us watch the other eat, we got an additional salad. We were also told that we could order anything and add long as he had the ingredients, we could have it. I had a NY style Chopped Cheese Wrap with caramelized onions and peppers. It was amazing and the side of fries were really well done, too! My wife got the Orrechiette with sausage and broccoli and was really good. It also came with garlic knots that were freshly baked. I wanted a bit more to drink and ordered a pineapple water. I didn't know how good freshly squeezed pineapple in water was going to be, but it was so refreshing it will be on all future orders. We were totally stuffed and were getting ready to leave when an order of churros appeared! The guy behind the counter was amazing. Everything was fresh and very good. You could change anything and could still have breakfast, very accommodated. I had chicken parm w salad and angel hair. Bf had a breakfast wrap, and we have enough for lunch tomorrow. Would def go back. Anthony's just opened a few weeks ago. My husband and I stopped in on a whim, and we were not disappointed. The food is homemade, fresh, and phenomenal! My husband got a (real) Cuban sandwich, and I had probably the best Ruben ever made. Their coleslaw is delicious. The owner is super friendly and willing to create just about any dish/sandwich/pizza we could want (as long as he has the ingredients, of course). Skip the chains in Dickson City and give this place your business, you will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to see this place grow. Anthony's got it. 100% in every category. Their sauce is to die for so their pizza is superb. Such friendly atmosphere, you feel they appreciate your business. Reasonable pricing. My husband and I were searching for a spot to grab lunch... Something besides a chain restaurant. I saw the 5 star rating at Anthony's, looked at the menu, and decided to give it a try. We were greeted very warmly. I find it to be a more authentic and enjoyable dining experience to actually talk with the person making my food. In fact, we were invited to ask for food we liked that may not be on the menu! How cool is that!!! My meal included a salad and my husband's did not... Our host brought a second salad just because he didn't want to have my husband just watching me eat while he waited for his food. I got the Orrechetti with sausage and broccoli. It was very flavorful and the portion was generous. After we had finished eating we were brought a plate of churros topped with strawberries, blueberries, and a chocolate peanut butter sauce combo. Needless to say we loved our experience and left very full, and with happy tastebuds!

A hidden gem for,great casual food. An absolute must go! Don’t miss this place. Food cooked with love and to order. Service is friendly (an understatement) and fast. The owner has saved and saved to open his own place and is rightly proud of what he creates here. You will love the food and you will love him; it's inevitable. We had Eggplant Parmigiana, a special that day, and a cheeseburger. Eggplant dish was top notch, the burger was huge and juicy, cooked exactly as specified. Couldn't finish my eggplant and was thrilled to take the rest home. We were steered here by the rave yelp reviews and had to add our voices to the chorus. Just go! I should add, if you’re “on the road” it’s a “quick detour” so great for travelers which is how we found it.

My husband & I took our granddaughter for breakfast. Food was very good and service was awesome. Granddaughter asked for a fruitcup not on menu. They made her a little bowl with fresh strawberries and blueberries. It was just what she wanted. Very considerate and accommodating. Will definitely go back.
