Definite Buffalo "boilermaker" type bar. Lots of potential here (packed to the roof rafters on Friday Happy Hour) but a tough joint to walk into first time as the "regulars" make their presence known immediately and NOT to your benefit. But be a warrior, enjoy a few cocktails (nice generous pour so NO need for a double!) and just MYOB. Soon you will be treated just as everyone else here which is family. You cannot claim to be a Buffalonian unless you had at least one shot & a beer here shortly after 0800 when they open.

But the kitchen is closed now no more what a shame they had great fish fry Service: 5

Real people. Neighborhood bar. Not my neighborhood, but same clientele I'm used too. As long as you understand you are a guest in their house, and respectful, you shouldn't have a problem. Bowling video game is addicting!!!!

Kitchen recently reopened, with the cook from Casey's down the street. Great fish fry! Huge portions, homemade side salads. Skin on Haddock. Even the Captains Platter has a full size piece of fish. Bar is packed, dining area not. Parking in the rear lot or street. Not the same, extensive menu as before, but still a good variety. Try Barry's again! Tell Sam (cook) Hi.

Phenomenal food great service if you're looking for a place to fit right in and feel comfortable not to mention Missy's not only beautiful but she is one of the best bartenders in Buffalo

The fish fry was great along with anything I've ever ate there. Relax have a drink just remember at close time you gotta go lol!!!!
