AMBIENCE: I can only speak on the bar area. But the place is lit to give it a more intimate vibe. Two pool tables in the front and one further back. The bar has ample seating too. It's a casual kind of place. Food: Ordered the Oggie & Banoffee Pie. The sauce really made the oggie even better than it already was. They didn't skimp on the portions that's for sure. And the banoffee pie was the best! They've got a full bar too. Overall: If you're here to just grab a drink or have a meal, this place is pretty cool if you're in the area. We shared Original one & French dip. I had never eaten real pasties before, so I didn't know well, but it was very delicious!! At first, we were worried that one serving of pasty would be enough, but it was enough to fill us up. I recommend ordering different types and sharing so you don't get bored. This spot was a fabulous discovery. They have a wide array of pasties, starters, and desserts. I had the bangers and mash pasty with red wine gravy. They also serve a nice variety of draft beer. Though I didn't play, they even have table games if you are into that. The downside was that it was a bit dark and not a lot of parking. This place is delicious. We got a chicken tikka Masala pasty. It was delicious. The soup is soooooooo good and so is the bread. I got the spicy pepper and chicken soup but others at my table got tomato and another got the mushroom. Everyone was very happy with their choices. Go any and every time that you can.
