The main issue that I had with this visit was how the host handle seating. We were told we would have a 25 minute wait and so that left us time to browse in the shop. We were called to the host table saying that our table is ready, and then required to stand along with of other people for our table. This took at least 15 minutes and we watched groups called after ours be seated quickly. It was very frustrating to have to stand around after we had been told our table was ready. The other issue I have is that when I go to a restaurant there to enjoy the company I am with, and not the music that sounds like a rock concert coming out of the radio. I had always had Cracker Barrel Doordashed to me and the food was always excellent. This was my first experience dining in and I was so disappointed. Medium rare steak became medium well, fries never came, food took foreverrrrr to come. My friend's Cobb salad was the saddest salad I've ever seen. I wish I had taken a photo of it before she ate but you know, you usually only take photos of good looking food right? Bah, I won't be visiting this location ever again. I really enjoy the family style setting you always receive at Cracker Barrel. My family and I were able to catch up and enjoy breakfast as we began planning our summer vacation. We can in today, 2/1 at about 6:45pm. No wait and the hostess was great. It was not busy but as soon as we sat down I overheard the couple in front of us complain about the waitress never coming back to their table as they had to ask the hostess for Togo boxes. No biggie. I watched the waitress come and go repeatedly but she never came to our table. We waited 14 mins and I finally got up and asked the hostess if he could get our waiter. He appear shocked but not surprised. Thankfully as I getting up Angela G. came to the rescue. She apologized for the other waitress and said she would be happy to assist. Our food was delicious and fast. Our service was wonderful! I will make sure to ask for Angela going forward. I wish I caught the name of the hostess because he was also great. We haven't been here in awhile, but opted to try it. Hubby and I enjoyed a delicious healthy breakfast. I also liked several items in the general store. Sunday - 08/06/2023 Breakfast was delish and the service was great. Plenty of menu items to choose from and reasonably priced. I also like shopping in the general store and love how they decorate the Christmas trees 🌲 12/20/2023- This is the second time we've had to send out food back. Due to over cooked sausage, eggs, and country fried steak. We've just never encountered this before. It's so disappointing 😞 Luckily for hubby we probably won't be back for awhile. Love coming here! The food is delicious, and pancake mix is really good! Tried the pancake tacos, which are semi new to the menu. Fantastic idea! You can just dip your pancake taco into honey 🍯 it’s busy during the weekends so make sure you reserve your table online! I posted a picture of the meal I waited nearly an hour to receive. I had the manager come look at my plate and he was equally disgusted. Offered to make me another plate, but by this time the rest of my party had finished eating so we just paid and left. Mattie, our server, was a gem. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our breakfast and visit. Compliments to the chef(s). Amy (cashier) was also very friendly. Can’t believe I spent more at raising cane’s the day prior. I feel bamboozled. I’ll definitely be back.
