Come here for a drink after a long walk around Dunedin Historical Society and Museum. You can always degust nicely cooked falafels, eggs benedict and fillet steaks at this bar. Do not go away without eating good key lime pie, blueberry muffins and French toasts. The great location of Crown & Bull makes it easy to reach by any transport. It might be good to enjoy delicious Mimosas, martinis or craft beer. A lot of visitors order great espresso, latte or tea. A lot of guests say that the staff is friendly here. Delicious dishes at reasonable prices are offered here. You will appreciate the terrific decor and cool ambiance of this place. 4.4 is what this spot got from the Google rating system.

The food was spot on, super fresh from their herb garden. Delectable salmon, first time ever eating all my food for once, instead of saving it. The server was very prompt and nice, made some suggestions and offered us desserts. He also made sure to check on us habitually. Wish I got his name though… so I can post it here. He did a superb job. The ambiance was inviting, I wanted to sit under the beautiful decorations, but they weren’t sitting that far back. The weather was beautiful so we sat outside. This place is cool inside and out. We visited during lunch time, I asked for outdoor seating because it looked nice from the photos and other reviews. It was already busy outside as we had to wait, we were told 15 minutes but it was quicker than that. I loved the vibe of the place. I tried their Hollander Gimlet and it was great! Nice rosy pink color. Earthy smell. Smooth. First you get the taste of the gin and sweetness, then the follow up of basil and cucumber. The bubbly adds a nice touch. It smells like the garden. I enjoyed it and glad I tried it. We ordered the Kimchi Fried Chicken sandwich and the Exotic Mushroom Tacos - both fantastic. The spice of the chicken was really nice, moist and tender. The mushrooms were so packed with flavor. Itnwas delicious and a lovely experience. We will definitely be back next time we visit Dunedin. This is a lovely gem in Dunedin, great. Menu pub, tavern, the menu is quite interesting fresh and unique. We had a great server. Loved the Gochujang Barbecue wings slightly spicy, but not too hot. Creamy homemade blue cheese dressing. My girlfriends all had different items. One had the Hummus platterwith homemade Tortilla chips. The sweet potato fries are wonderful And other had wings too. Went on Valentine’s Day the menu was fun and well thought out. Food was divine and very fresh. The restaurant was amazing. There were guests the night we went who did not have a reservation and was being loud and argumentative with the hostess. She was young and very kind. She did her absolute best to please the person. However the folks who thought to have a reservation were seated promptly. The ones who did not have a reservation had to wait. Lesson learned. One of the finest places in Dunedin! Outside ambiance is beautiful. Decorated for Valentine's, they were actually having a gallantine's event with special menu & live music.
