I was looking forward to a good breakfast, but this was not the case.I ordered the Strawberry Stuffed French toast and side of country ham. The French toast filling looked and tasted like warmed up stawberry cream cheese from the store. The French toast was a white bread only toasted on one side with the filling put on the untoasted side and folded over. When I tasted the ham it was so salty it was the only thing I could taste until I went home. Needless to say, I was able to eat a half piece of toast and a bite of super salty ham. One of the serves said they would take my meal off the bill, but when that came I was only discounted 50%. My wife also bit into an egg shell while eating a piece of the cornbread that is served while waiting for your meal. I found this out after we left. The food was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cinnamon swirl pancakes was delicious. My omelet was the best. Stacy White, the Manager, was very friendly, helpful and interesting to talk to. Lots of great breakfast and seasonal options here. I went with the three egg breakfast with cheddar on top, buttered wheat toast and breakfast potatoes. All were delicious especially the breakfast potatoes. I could probably spend a week here trying the different options for breakfast. Service was prompt and the coffee was very good. Nice atmosphere as well. Parking was easy during the week but I can see it getting crowded on the weekends. Had a delightful brunch with my father, the Benedict’s were amazing, the avocado Benedict my favorite, the pepper jack cheese and pico on top were the best combinations.
