This is one of the best wineries that I have visited so far. The host is super friendly and awesome. And he has the knowledge of the wines. Picked his brain about it a lot. And also there are animals that we pet while roaming the winery. I would recommend to try the dry wines. Pinot Grigio was my favorite out of the wines that I tasted and even got a glass as a souvenir as well.

A local favorite. Laid back atmosphere. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Not a super fancy winery, but I enjoy hanging out there with friends. They allow you to bring in outside food. Bring some snacks, maybe a board game and have a good time!

Grimes Mill Winery is a beautiful small farm winery just south of Lexington KY. The wine here is excellent. The tasting room is beautiful and unique. Daniel, the tasting room manager is knowledgeable and personable. I probably enjoy the syrah the most but all the wines are well made. Grimes Mill is a gem. Don’t miss it.

Oh my goodness what an amazing hidden gem in Kentucky!!!! Daniel was an amazing host and is extremely knowledgeable about all the wines and makes them himself! The owner is the sweetest man ever and gave us a tour of the brewing facility and his wife gave us homemade beer cheese!!! Everyone was so nice and even let us wander around outside and pet the farm animals. If you’re looking for a day of fun, this is the place to go! Highly recommended!!!!!!

Wonderful winery with fabulous reds! The staff was awesome! The owner/winemaker was taking a break and we had a great conversation with him. Don't pass this place up! Already planning a future trip to the area just so we can stop here!

Great little welcoming winery right off the interstate. Knowledgeable staff and great wine! The grounds are beautiful with some friendly animals to help you enjoy your wine. This message approved by my wife 😬😬

The wines are very good and special, something you will Not find in a big box store or corporate winery. Daniel operating the place is great, friendly and knowledgeable. This winery is off the beaten path in a lovely location. Other patrons who show up here are also wonderful. Very nice people and wine club members. I have never had a bad experience here and Highly recommend Grimes Mills Winery.
