Good food, a huge portion, great service and not to mention, it's pretty reasonable price as well. I really enjoyed my chicken and vegetables. The veggies are crunchy, not overly cooked. I stopped at Happy Dragon on 7/2/2023 for lunch on my way to Portland, ME. This restaurant is located downtown. We entered the restaurant and were quickly greeted by a friendly host who sat us in the dining room. I prefer the lounge but it seemed to be closed. The server gave us their menu and took our drinks orders. As is my custom I ordered the Mai Tai. It was in a 8oz glass, a bit small to what I am used to, however, it was as strong and tasty. We ordered from the lunch menu special plates. Very affordable, plenty to eat and satisfying. I give them Kudos for their golden chicken fingers. If you’re in town stop in and try them out. This meal was the best Chinese food that we have had in many years ! (For real) the general gua's chicken was crispy and delicious, and the dumplings are excellent ! The food was good. The tea tasted differently than what I remember. I can honestly say I've stuck with the rice dishes since the food has changed a bit over the years and some things just don't taste the same. When you're used to certain dishes and they don't taste like they used to it makes a difference for me. Been going to Happy Dragon for more than 35 yrs now. It's expected that food may change depending on the cook. Service is still great. Always friendly. Parking is definitely a challenge just watch the parking signs. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I really like the Happy Dragon. I eat there often. I called in tonight and placed an order. I had a dish named HAPPY FAMILY It is one of my favorites! I especially enjoy their 🦀 ,Crab Ragoon. From the time that I placed my order, and drive for my Take Out, only 10 minutes had past. The food was Hot! 🔥 As well as delicious! The Staff was friendly! The food is absolutely delicious! I stumbled on this place over the last spring and have been dining here once a week with my family at lunch time. You could almost set a watch to when I go. The food is top notch, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is very clean and nice inside. The staff are very friendly and interact very well with small children. Online ordering was easy. My husband picked up our order and when he got home our food was hot. The orange chicken he ordered looked and smelled amazing and my beef dish was fantastic. The veggies were delicious crisp and full of flavor. Great sized portions too. Oh the garlic sauce was great as well!! When i want a change from regular resturants, this location is totally more tasty. Prices are perfect and nice smiles and good timing. Dont forget fried rice, its not dry or plain.
