The music they play there is nice and appropriate for the French restaurant. Food is expensive. The chocolate croissant didn't have any chocolate and there were hard things in it 😕. I have no idea what the hard things were.

French Toast
Ordered the french toast and was disappointed in the quality of the bread I wasn’t able to cut through the crust of the bread with a knife because of how hard it was and the French toast was completely downed with a caramel sauce. Also, ordered the steak panini and don’t be fooled by the picture it was like biting through a thick stale rock hard sandwich leaving my gums completely scratched up not to mention the steak was as dry as jerky. This is a very overpriced “French” cafe for the quality of the food. Disappointed.

We were so excited to have a local french restaurant, and this experience was so bad that we will not be back. While the food was okay and good, it was basic and included canned whip cream and refrigerated jam. It lacked the taste and use of in-house ingredients that make extraordinary places like Ciao Trattoria, Ethos, or Magnolia Cafe. Meanwhile, the poor service and extreme delays were what made this an overall poor experience. I can not recall experiencing something similar anywhere else.
When we arrived (1:10 p.m.), we were seated at a table that was not fully prepared. At that time, the waitress proceeded to comment that she really wanted to go home and was planning to head out before we and another table arrived. After she approached with glasses of water, she again said that she wanted to go home and complained that it was past her time to head out. When we ordered coffee, she laughed and walked away with a huff. Within 5 minutes, she walked out the door. After that, it took a while to get our coffee and for someone to get our order. At least our second server seemed a little friendlier although focused on other things. This was just the beginning of the delays. We ordered a Monte Cristo, a Panini, and Croque Monsieur (sandwiches) along with a banana bread to share. It took over 20 minutes to get a cold banana bread and over 55 minutes to get our meal. During most of that time, there was only one other table waiting on their food, and the view into the kitchen showed the two staff slowly doing other things and possibly wasting time. They showed no sense of urgency. At no point did anyone approach us to apologize and only seemed worried when I asked to cancel the order and pay. We received food 5 minutes after that and were unimpressed. When I went to pay, the person at the counter seemed annoyed and dismissive. Our server tried to ask me about the food trying to be nice, but that did not balance the rest of the experience and the indifference from the rest of the team.
Honestly, I am not sure if it was a bad day, they just have poor customer service and timing, the staff wanted to go home, or they had something against me and my family.
My advice is, if you want a great brunch/lunch experience and great food, head to House of Pancakes, Cafe Magnolia, Ethos, Sage Port Grille, Hill's Restaurant, or the Busy Bee Diner. We are regulars at all these places due to their great service.

I ordered the crepe. It was Ah-MAZ-ing. I've been to several crepe places in Tricities, and they all have a rubber texture. 😐 But these were perfect. And the flavors, oh my goodness.
I'm not sure what was going on, but 2 people got their food and then 20 minutes later, I and the other gal got our food. Freak thing? Or commonplace? I couldn't say. It was my first time there.
Since I am astonished to say the best croissants I've found in tricities is at Costco... an absolutely horrifying thing to say as a person who grew up in New Orleans... I look forward to trying croissants next time! Fingers crossed that theyvare everything I've been missing.

I wish Google would allow no stars because that's what this place deserves. My husband and I went on Thursday 2/22/24 just before 6pm for dinner, to celebrate a recent life changing event. When we arrived no one greeted us. There were two tables in the back with customers. One had a party of 5-6 and the other just a couple. All the other tables were empty, as was the bar. There were no signs saying to seat ourselves or wait, so we waited near the cash register. There were photocopied menus there so we started looking at what was on the menu since we had nothing else to do. About ten minutes later a woman approached us and we said we were there for dinner. About ten minutes later a couple of women came in and were seated at a small table for two against a wall. A older couple came in next and were seated right away. About ten more minutes passed before I got my glass of wine and she filled our rocks-sized glasses with lukewarm tap water. Every other table got a full-sized water glass, but not us. Then another group of 5-6 came in and were seated in a corner. The table with the two women, the older couple and the group were all given carafes of water. We were not and our water was never refilled even though we asked for more. We ordered two of the most expensive items on the menu (Wellington and Boeuf Bourguignon). During the next 75 minutes we waited while no food was brought out to anyone except the party of 5 (they got soup before all of us who arrived before them). Not once were we told why our order was delayed when it was placed long before all of these other customers, nor was there any acknowledgement that we were still waiting. I wish we had walked out, as so many other dinner reviewers have stated that they did. The older couple who came twenty minutes after us ordered the same thing as my husband, and they got their food before us. Now it's 7:20. Our food came to the table cold, burnt, tasteless, and/or overcooked. The side of vegetables (one piece of broccoli, seven green beans, five or six slices of yellow carrot) that came with the Wellington were clearly overcooked from boiling to the point of mush and then left in cold water to become waterlogged and tasteless. The carrots were so old and waterlogged they couldn't be cut with a knife. The pastry was burnt on the outside and soggy on the inside. The meat that I ordered medium rare was overcooked to the texture of shoe leather. The white sauce on the plate was cold and gluey. My husband said his plate was like eating a 35$ bowl of Progresso beef soup. If I were with anyone else I would have walked out and left the food on the table. My husband refused to leave even though he didn't like the excessive wait, being served out of order and his cold meal. When we got out of there it was past 7.40 pm, and we will NEVER go back. I love REAL French food. That wasn't real human food of any kind. We paid over 100 dollars for the meal. It seems clear that she only preferences large groups who purchase apps, mains, sides, etc. so she makes the most money. We only ordered wine, the most expensive mains, and sides. No wonder she only responds to good reviews. If you are looking for a place with edible food, any professional food service, and a nice evening out DO NOT GO HERE!

When we walked (10am) in the owner looked us up and down, then we were told they we not seating anyone else. There were only 3 tables being used at the time. Their hours clearly state 8am-9pm. Never have I felt uncomfortable at a Tri Cities restaurant until now. I will not be going back nor recommend this restaurant.

Excellent-Excellent-Excellent! It’s not fast food - probably a two bottle of wine experience but the food is beyond excellent and the service was great!
Superb food. Service was a challenge. Waitstaff focused on their side work, instead of us. Small details still need attention; our table cloth had spots, waitstaff was not attentive and we were the only ones there! One of the waitstaff mopped the floor, after the owner had just completed that same task, as we were getting settled. Strong odor of disinfectant,
Food is superb. They need to work on all aspects.
We'll give another try
