I love this place to have breakfast and dinner. Breakfast are not heavy but proper. Especially they served bread in warm condition. Also other dishes are also fine. Not 100% swiss style but Polish fusion. Ladies were friendly and quite fast compared to other restaurant in Poland. Great small place at one of the main streets in Zakopane just before Krupówki. Delicious meals, plenty of choices for those who like different kinds of meat, fish, pasta and vegetarian options as well. Very tasty winter tea with orange lemon and fruits. For some reason I always end up at this place when I am in Zakopane :) The food is delicious and more important, different than what you can find in other restaurants. Large portions. The service is excellent, the staff always polite and helpful. You can tell just how unique this place is by the peaceful homelike atmosphere and the pleasant vibe you are getting right from the start. Got there by a friend recommendation. Did and service was were excellent. The waitress didn't speak English but spoke dinner German and so do I, so we managed. The ravioli were excellent and also the fondue, this I didn't like that half the dipping food were pickles. Prices are like on most restaurants in Poland although it's a fine dining restaurant. Honestly, I have no idea what people like about the food in here… It was a very, very unpleasant surprise. Raclette and Fondue were bellow average, at best. For those who knows ACTUAL fondue, don’t get your hopes up. Maybe other dishes are nicer. Ambient is pretty nice and cozy, gotta give them that, at least. Far from English friendly. Service was great and portions were decent, however they were out of one of the dishes we originally ordered so we went with the recommended replacement instead, which ended up being quite disappointing as it was essentially crisps, cheese and bacon on a plate. Quite underwhelming. We ordered 3 dishes, only 2 arrived (the beetroot salad got lost, it seems), the pierogi were barely cooked, and the trout (which was delicious) was served with frozen vegetables. Asked for vinegar to the kitchen, which they didn’t have. The place and parking close at 9pm straight - and the staff isn’t the most welcoming. Wouldn’t recommend.
