We really enjoyed our visit to Mandola's Italian Kitchen. This was our first visit, and we had to be told that you ordered your food well inside the front door before you sat down. That was the only hiccup. The food was very good and relatively inexpensive. It doesn't look like much food, but we found it very filling at $25 for two people. The best part may be the homade deserts that abound. We shared a large piece of chocolate cake for $8. It was worth every penny! This will be a frequent stop when visiting Austin! Career service industry person here.. I currently work for a different fast casual concept and recently moved to the HQ side of things and I must leave positive feedback when I see it’s deserved. I watched the Manager, Maria, run the FOH on a very busy Friday night and she absolutely killed it. She was attentive to her team, her guests and helped manage expo to get food out to guests in a timely manner. She is an asset to this team with her obvious work ethic and should receive the ultimate praise from her superiors. I must also make note that the other gentleman running the FOH with her was also very attentive and helpful to all of the diners. Food was incredible. Tickets times were perfect. Hospitality on point. Keep up the great work yall. I would be thrilled to have people like this on my team! 1 at time here , brought my kids for an early Valentine dinner and Maria made our visit. Incredibly nice and welcoming, treated us to dessert knowing it was our first time.
