I should have snapped a photo of the food as well but I was so eager to just cut right into my teriyaki chicken with the seasoned rice. Everything was cooked to perfection. There were a bunch of other people there when I arrived and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I'm glad I went in to dine. Not only was everything delicious, I truly enjoyed the experience. Disappointed in the food price increase. This used to be my go-to place for lunch and would get a kids meal for $7, stopped by today and my total was $16!?! For a kids meal?!? And it sucked for the workers too, because I didn't leave a tip due to the high price. The food is great, but I can't afford to pay that. I don't know when they increased their price, but doubling the price seems crazy. Great experience at Moki's. Loved the Hawaiian themed food. The Spam Musubi was great. I'll admit I wish there had been more Spam. The Sticky Chicken seemed a little dry. The Garlic Chicken was excellent. Loved the rice and macaroni salad. Definitely worth the visit. Immediately walking in, I was greeted by a very friendly face at the register. She was very nice and I requested suggestions, as this was my first time. I got the chicken with rice and pasta salad. I got the 1 meat teriyaki plate and my wife got the kalua pork bowl with a side of Mac salad. $40 for the two of us and practically no sauce on my teriyaki chicken and they didn’t give us a sauce with our order eirher. My wife had no sauce on her bowl as well. Very dry meal which sucks. First time trying and for $40, I won’t be back. I do like how they give a slice of pineapple tho and the Mac salad was tasty. Lots of pepper. There was a bone in the middle of my chicken that they missed cutting out. Went through drive thru.
