Out Back is always great, but this one is even better than others. Sage is awesome. He is attentive & ensures everything is prepared to your satisfaction. If you're not, he does not hesitate to take it back & get you something that meets your expectations. He treats every patron the same, even asking my kids if their food is up to their liking, and ensuring your dining experience is truly 5 stars. We arrived between 4pm and 430pm. Were told we had to wait to be seated even though there were very few people there. We were seated at a booth in the bar area. Ordered drinks,appetizer,and meal right away. Got our water ,bread and bloomin onion in a good amount of time. After an hour and a half of watching tables who came in well after us get their meals when our meal was finally ready we took it to go. Our waiter was very apologetic and this review is not a reflection of him at all,he was great. We will more than likely not go to the Bozeman location again. Obviously something broken in the staffing department. The food was decent warmed up in the microwave at the hotel just sad that we didn't get to enjoy it hot and fresh in the restaurant. Always a great place to eat! Food is always good and staff are friendly even when it is busy. Sage is our absolute favorite server!!! He is funny, kind and amazing at his job. He is always in a great mood no matter what is going on and genuinely cares about the customers. Sage gets a 11/10!!!!!! This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. We went out for what was a nice dinner to remember our family friend but ended up with a horrible experience. First we get to the restaurant and are greeted by a hostess that obviously did not want to be there. Our waitress was nice but very busy. We got our drinks and bread and appetizers. The blooming onion which is supposed to be the specialty was inedible. We had put our order at 7:30 PM and had not received our food by 8:30PM we had to ask the server where our food was and we had to leave so they boxed the food for us and we finally received it by 8:50 PM. The steaks were dried out. Cold and grossly over cooked. Overall the food and service was terrible NEVER AGAIN WILL WE EAT AT OUTBACK. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

Our waitress was awesome. Great personality. The salad was fresh and tasted great. The steaks ( 6oz sirloins) had a lot of gristle in them. The ribs on my husband's plate were dry. I had great mashed potatoes with butter. But my shrimp were over cooked. Most likely will not eat there again anytime soon. We never complained to anyone, sometimes it is not worth it. Went in unexpectedly. Was seated right away. Complimentary dark Mimi loaf of bread. She ordered 6 oz steak, medium well and baked potato, I ordered blooming fried Chicken breast with loaded baked potato. We got a salad also as One of the side orders. The baked potato wasn't really hot so he took $4 off the total bill. All in all, it was a good dinner. Waiter was friendly and service was fast. Went to Outback for the first time and was not impressed. Our waitress was awesome and the atmosphere was cool, but the food was lacking. I got a surf and turf meal with outback shrimp, both were not worth the price. I would have rather bought twice the food at a supermarket and cooked myself. The steak was bland, not sure if that was intentional or not, and the shrimp were so over battered, it was tough to get down. I grew up in a place where fried food is the norm, this was not great. We ordered a Blooming Onion and it was brutal. The batter was overly seasoned, and it was undercooked and a tad soggy. For their "signature" appetizer, I was let down. My wife ordered a salad and I bet Dairy Queen could do a better job. I understand Outback is not known for their salads, but put in some effort for the price. We both also got the soup of the day and agreed it was similar to a mushy cardboard flavor. Not good. I was pretty excited to go to Outback, and was thoroughly disappointed in the food for the price. Our waitress was awesome, super friendly, and checked in often, which was refreshing:) But, the food lacked, and maybe it was just an off night for the kitchen. I am absolutely obsessed with this place! The famous onion is so good with their sauce and let me tell you about their LOBSTER TAIL! Delicious! I would give this restaurant a zero star! My husband, and I ordered two ribeye steaks with sides! The ribeyes were totally raw, the butter on top of the steaks was cold, and hard, and wouldn't melt because the steaks were totally raw!! The waiter gave us ten percent off our meal! Our bill still was $90.00 , plus we left the waiter a good tip, because he did not cook the steaks! Our whole meal should have been refunded! I will not eat there ever again! We waited over 50 minutes for our lunch. The restaurant was empty and when finally I got my meal the filet mignon was a cold, hard, and so overly cooked I could use it to make a shoe! The broccoli was not seasoned at all and my loaded baked potato had weird brown granules on it...which I assume was supposed to be bacon??? To charge $37.00 for something like that is laughable. The server was very nice and the manager did take $10.00 off, which is also laughable as I clearly didn't even eat anything they served minus a couple of bites because I was starving.
