I LOVE Proper Pie Co. Hands down one of my favorite food spots in Richmond 😍 Everything I've ever gotten from here has been fantastic. Most recently I picked up a pork chile rojo meat pie and a slice of banana cream pie. Both were fantastic! I highly recommend them if you get the chance to go! Visiting my sister who lives in the neighborhood. On my way out, I was super hungry. Parked it real fast, ran up to the window, and had savory and sweet vegan pies within a few minutes. It really hit the spot-- the vegan option was super meaty and filling. and the price is super reasonable. I'd go here all the time if I could :) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Picked up some pies for lunch on our way through Richmond, but thought they were so delicious we had to turn around and get more for the road so we could have them for dinner too! Having been to the UK a few months ago, it's been hard to find a "proper" savory pie here in the US. Look no further than this gem in Richmond! Best lunch ever! I arrived at 12 Noon on a weekday just as they were opening. By 12:03pm there were a dozen people in line. THE Most delicious lamb and vegetable pie made my day!

A lot of pie options from sweet to savory. We got iced coffee, strawberry rhubarb, and Buttermilk raspberry. Pie was good and coffee was good with it. They have a small window you order from but the pie came out so fast and was fresh. The ladies behind the glass were very friendly. Salmon, leek, and potato pie was divine! And the key lime pie is by far the best one that I have ever tried! Friendly service and freshly handmade pies. What's more to love than that!!
