Service is always slow and customer service sucks. This drink is supposed to be frozen but as you can see by the time stamp, it's half foam half runny drink. Not like the frozen pic at all. Lately they've been watering down my drinks and the taste is so off. I can't wait 10 extra minutes while on the way to work to have them fix it.

Super friendly staff, nice outdoor table area at this location. Got myself the Pumpkin Spice Latte and Ham and Swiss Croissant and y’all already know. It was great. 🙂 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I feel bad leaving this review but think people should know what to expect: - The place is always a mess (unswept floors, dirty counters, work stations have melted ice and syrups/drinks spilled and not cleaned up) - The store always seems under staffed. - The employees either look overwhelmed or are moving at a snail pace because they don’t seem to know what they are doing. You will rarely find someone by the cashier waiting for you when you enter. A lot of times you’re waiting for the cashier to finish taking a drive through order before they even greet you. - The managers will sometimes be nice but they mostly look like they are trying to survive. - The store always has a line of customers waiting for their order, and a line in the drive through. What’s annoying is, trying to cancel an order already made on the app. - I once did drive thru because I didn’t want to wake my daughter from her nap, I waited 50 minutes and had a crying baby in the car for the last 10 minutes. - parking lot is so badly designed, you may not be able to leave because the drive thru is backed up. - during pumpkin spice latte season the app will always show they are out. Terrible location, poor quality sandwiches. I was excited to try the new renovated Starbucks location as their previous location didn't have a drive thru and the parking was terribly poor. Upon pulling into the location, I almost collided with not one, but two cars. There is a shared lane for the drive thru AND to pull into the parking lot, which absolutely is hazardous and does not make sense as the traffic is backed up. One person was backing out and another was trying to leave the lot - there was absolutely no space to maneuver and park. I ordered on mobile and needed to pull into the lot to pick it up. As you can imagine, I was frustrated at the terrible design of this lot. Upon entering, the store was uncleanly and very disorganized. My sandwich was cold and thrown together like a child put it together. Overall disappointed. Hoping something improves. I can forgive the messy floor, it's raining and sleeting right now. Messy weather. But the gnats flying around and crawling on the pastries?...YUCK. My caffe latte tasted like hot chocolate. Last time i checked, lattes do not have chocolate in them. Lastly, i was absent mindedly watching the service counter for my drink to appear and one of the servers started opening a package of cups there. She stared at me, with an attitude like 'what are YOU staring at?' Um, i just want my drink. I hurriedly averted my gaze but...yeah just an uncomfortable vibe all around. We ordered 2 frapp drinks and they literally forgot and i have to ask if they have received my online order or not, then 1 drink after a lengthy wait 1 drink containing a big hair inside. Then she made us waited for another 10 minutes, to make us a new drink , and on a side we waited for half hour for a bakery item that doesn’t need to be prepared but we don’t understand why they don’t prioritize the new customers. I feel terrible for the staff here. Every single time I’ve been here it’s always backed up. Packed with customers and theres like two or three people in the building?? Whoever runs this location needs to be let go, Starbucks Hamden is a dumpster fire. Will not be returning Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

My order was fine, but I misheard the change. When paid in cash, i gave too little. The person at the drive through rudely said “well you gave me a penny” when I questioned change that was given back to me, they had absolutely no customer service, looked like they hated being there and rolled their eyes along with a coworker when I asked about the change. Terrible location. Customer service is always rude and unprofessional. The quality of the drinks is not as good as other locations. Management must be out to lunch. This place is in an unacceptable state. It’s been bad since they moved into the new building and I don’t see it getting any better. Try Woodbridge or Wallingford instead.
