This place is AMAZING. New favorite date night spot in Rincón! I had the mussels for an app and they were delicious, very flavorful and a good portion size. Then I had the catch of the day for an entree which was snapper, this was also wonderful and flavorful and perfect portion size, as was my boyfriend’s lamb — he loved it! My personal favorite part, which I couldn’t resist taking a bite of before taking a picture, was the HOMEMADE mango cheesecake and it was absolutely incredible. The staff was all so nice, each employee greeted us with a smile, checked on us frequently, and everyone said goodbye as we left. The owner (I’m assuming) was also there and took time to talk to us and was SO SWEET, he said his wife made the cheesecake this morning which made it even more awesome. Great spot! Do not understand why they don’t have a crowd. Food is good and cocktails are really tasty and unique. Octopus is something! Really recommend it. Mussels were good too, but too salty. Probably we were not too lucky. But octopus was amazing both times. Definitely recommend this place! Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went there for dinner and drinks. Everything was delicious. I usually never get dessert and it was to die for. We had the steak that you share, it was cooked to our liking. The staff was very good. If you are in Rincon, go there you won’t be disappointed! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Loved this restaurant on my trip to rincon pr! Went back with friends for second night since it was so good. I loved the appetizer of ravioli.. was my favorite, sauce was delicious! Tart was amazing too! 👏 my friend loved the pork chop.. was huge. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a great time at Taste Gastrobar. The service was good, and the food was fantastic. The Osso Buco de Ternera and Chuleton de Cerdo were standout dishes, perfectly cooked and flavorful. I will recommend to try The Pechuga de Pato. If you're looking for a place with great service and delicious food, this restaurant is a good choice. Highly recommend for top bites in the charming town of Rincon; the food was on point, the service was very good and the ambiance was nice and welcoming. The burgers were delicious, the chuleta de Cordero was definitely a must try, while drinks were also done well Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food was good. We were forgotten about a couple of times by our server and the floor manager, and it was a bit challenging to flag someone down for a drink refill. And we waited quite a while to get the check. This place doesn't have the polish you expect for fine dining as far as atmosphere is concerned. No table clothes, and a very casual "come as you are" attitude. The servers also have a more casual attitude towards service. After reading all the great reviews, I decided to have dinner at Taste. The food was very tasty, but came out cold which was disappointing… service was exceptional, food presentation was of a high standard, great location - ticks a lot of boxes Price per person $50–60 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hands down the best restaurant in Rincon. Really a great experience. For starters we had: The tuna appetizer is to die for and I could order two of those as my meal. It comes on a delicious sweet plantain base with the tuna and rice and sauce. The combination was stellar. The lamb meatballs which we ordered on both occasions with a goat cheese spread, pesto and toasted bread Veggie and goat cheese fondue served with plantain chips. This was a different variation with big chunks of veggies in it. It was delicious! My husband had the filet and he stated it was tasty and he eats a LOT of filets. I have had the salmon on our first visit and the beet salad on my 2nd. Both were tasty. We aren’t drinkers but they had an extensive wine list and bar. Service was excellent and staff attentive but no overly attentive. Around 6:30 ish they had live music by two local guitar players and the ambience was nice. When in Rincon don’t miss this wonderful place

We arrived without reservations and the host was pleasant and offered us a choice of tables. The waiter was pleasant but a little serious. We ordered some tapas to start and they arrived shortly after and were pleasantly warm. The rabbit spring roll with fresh salad was amazing (even though we found a bone). The mixed salad was also a pleasent dish albeit a little underdressed. The bacalao y pana (Cod and breadfruit cake, avocado mousse, with mango ginger sauce) was a highlight of the evening. For the main dish we chose the catch of the day (seabass) with cassava mofongo and tomato beurre blanc. For dessert, a delicios flourless chocolate cake, which was a little eggy. The cocktails were imaginative and innovative with exotic flavors, a must try. A great experience that I can't wait to repeat.
