Ate here for the first time yesterday before heading to the ETSU baseball game, been meaning to get here since I moved here & it didn't disappoint. Food was good, especially the carolina potato with the pulled pork, I need to go back for the pulled pork, it was amazing, they have Cheerwine on fountain which was so good & Hailey my server did a wonderful job. Service was superp, we had a great waitress that was very attentive and very friendly. Thank you, Jaiden, for giving us a great experience. Very good value and portions. Today we were both in a salad mood and ordered the smoked turkey salad. There was nothing special about the turkey, it was like the kind you can get at the deli. Thinly sliced without any smoked flavor. The rest of the salad was quite good and fresh and a large portion. It was huge and I ate every bit of it. My wife ordered salsa and chips as an app. I really don't like it when you're served cold salsa and it was right out of the fridge. Can you just nuke it to room temp? Really. It was great salsa and would have been better unchilled. I ordered steak fries and they weren't quite what I was expecting. They were smaller wedges. They were really good and a bit crispy the way I like them so no biggie. Our waitress was what all waitresses should be. Outstanding! (Alisha). When we return we will try the barbecue as a sandwich or entrée and perhaps some different sides. The atmosphere is cozy and this was our first time coming here. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We were so looking forward to trying out the Fire house but the food at least what we had was disappointing. Out of baked potatoes, French fries were greasy and the ribs were undercooked, tough, flavorless and definitely not fall off the bone. The sauce labeled sweet was so over seasoned with vinegar I wiped it off my ribs. I could not finish mine. Maybe their other sandwiches are better but this place is at the bottom of our list to return.
