I love Kava so much. It's my favorite coffee bar in Denton. They have the most comfortable seating, they are generally quite, 100% vegan friendly, and they offer a variety of legal mood or mind-altering options, such as Kratom shots and Delta-8 drinks and cookies. They even have a little free library inside. They are often greatly understaffed, but the clientele is very understanding and is willing to wait for the poor barista to catch up to everybody's orders. Kava Bar is a lovely amalgamation of a bar and a coffee shop all at once. The vibe keeps social like a bar, but typically (during the day) folks aren't too loud, like a busy coffee shop. The staff are A+, I'd call them out but each one is a gem! Many are new to Kava and Kratom, the staff are quite knowledgeable and will help you find a delicious drink that perks you up or chills you out depending what you get! Enjoy a mild buzz without imbibing alcohol! I get a double crushed red elixir (red vein Kratom) with coconut creamer & caramel 🙌 A unique and charming alternative bar! My favorite place to relax, laugh and enjoy the variety of teas it offers. I love everything starting with the staff all the way to the people who go to this non-alcoholic bar.
