I feel like the price does not match the experience this place is very overpriced the menu does not have many options we came here to celebrate our anniversary the view is beautiful the restaurant is pretty cool however you get a card with a free appetizer of “their choice” and it can’t be used until your next visit lol so I don’t think we will get our complimentary fried green tomatoes. I ordered filet mignon medium rare it was really rubbery like it was cooked at high heat or open flame too over cooked on the outside flavor was not great I was highly disappointed for $50+ it was not worth it my son ordered chicken and dumplings that was very dry and overcooked my husband’s plate was probably the best one he had the pork chop. Safe to say this was the second time we gave this place a try and we will not be back for a third it just was not what we were anticipating and we left feeling like we paid way too much based on what we got. 1st time here and it was a very interesting experience. We were taken to the 5th floor and seated next to the window. My Wife had the Salmon with vegetables and I had the chicken sandwich. She loved her Salmon plate and my chicken plate sandwich was well prepared and the views were great. I dislike being served at a table by a bartender. He took our order and that was the last time he came by. Empty glasses and I had to ask him for the bill. You just can't have a bartender pull double duty, especially when there was ample help available. Not his fault. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Went to the Pump House with family! If you come in the “wrong” entrance, the “road” to the parking lot is a rather uncomfortable ride, your GPS will probably take you that way. I prefer you take a left at Terrace Park road instead of Herrons Ferry road. You’ll be glad you did. I feel like since that’s probably the entrance they prefer you using, it should’ve been paved. Anyways, food was superb! Cornbread was delicious. I got the 18oz rib eye. Could’ve been cooked a tad better but it’s okay it still tasted incredible, just hard to cut. It was also the most fatty peice of steak I’ve ever had in my life which I know “there’s more flavor” etc etc but I don’t like all that fat. Could go without it. The Ribeye came with pimento Mac and cheese which I pretty much inhaled it was so good. See pictures for meal names. Everything was very good. The experience going up in the elevator was superb as someone is there to seat you after you come up. Very cool. Besides the semi-confusing parking and the fatty steak I’ll give 4/5 stars Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Everything was up to par as usual. Our server was polite and well spoken. Our soups taste great, and the main entrée was awesome for both of us. We come here often because of the great service and beautiful views of the Catawba river.
