My wife and I enjoyed frequenting this lovely restaurant for years but haven’t returned since the pandemic until yesterday. The truffle onion rings were stuff of legend and we had taken friends and family there many times but on our last visit nothing was the same. The truffle onion rings were doughy and lacked the truffle flavoring and the spring pea ravioli were substantially smaller than they used to be. Also the parsnips that come with the ravioli were undercooked and crunchy. The carnitas pizza was decent but overall we were highly disappointed in the flavor of everything we had. Covid seems to have ruined all of our favorite eateries unfortunately. The last complaint is that when it was time to pay the bill the server hovered while I decided of the tip amount to leave. The 20% customary option was not an option on the handheld debit card payment machine so I just chose the 25% option because it was too awkward to calculate the 20% with her looming over me. Discovered this gem of a restaurant in Sonoma, and what a delightful find it was! The service was top-notch—attentive and friendly. Our food arrived promptly, and each dish was a flavor explosion!
