Super busy donut/breakfast spot with fresh donuts and excellent breakfast sandwiches. Fast service, reasonably priced. Very basic decor with a few tables and a bar but no table service. My breakfast sandwich was huge and delicious.
Perfect place to visit for delicious donuts and amazing iced coffee. I tried their sticky bun coffee and it was exceptional. Their Apple fritter is my favorite and is shown here. It is huge and crispy and delicate. I almost wish I didn’t know about it’s existence Bc now I crave them daily on my way to work.
I also enjoy their maple bacon donut. They know what they are doing when it comes to donuts. They are incredibly soft and delicious.
One of my favorite places in Hamden! It's always busy because the food is wonderful with donuts, coffees, sandwiches, muffins, pastries and salads. The staff are nice and move quickly, nice counter seating if you want to eat in or drive through the line goes fast even when it's long. You definitely will enjoy this spot!

So my husband and I go here after we find out that they have chicken sausage egg and cheese!!! And choices of donuts 😍😁 They can have a better update on certain foods but we like to coming here grab breakfast from time to time. One of the things we don't like is that they stop breakfast after 12, so we automatically go somewhere else if we want some breakfast late.

Smack Bang In The Middle!
I waited a while to do this review for some reason. I think I was on the fence. Ive done drive through and walk in.
I attempt to shop local and I’ve lived in the area going on a decade but I never eat in my immediate area. So I’ve been on a journey of sorts lately. Welp… Ive found Whitney Donuts.
Selection is great, some harder to find things like Maple Bacon Donuts 🍁 🥓 🍩 ❗️
Everything looks good. I’m not a fan of the glaze donuts at all. Ive had the some good options from there. I also ordered a Beacon Egg & Cheese on a croissant, not bad but not enough meat. I asked them to put black pepper on it and they put some in the bag. Another order was Bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin with jelly. They put the jelly on there even though it was less than a smidge.
Ice coffee was nasty. Drive thru moves at a nice speed. The walk in process was VERY SLOW & disorganized. They have lots of customers so someone loves them. They create traffic issues with all the cars that use the drive thru.
We had their donuts last night for our wedding and oh my gosh!!! They were by far the best donuts we e had. All 4 dozen donuts were gone. Guest loved them. I’ve tried so many for the wedding and Whitney’s Donuts had to be the best donuts I’ve ever had! ❤️
A favorite of mine ever since moving to Hamden three years ago! Their prices are great, and I love their drive through option.
My favorite donut is probably their maple bacon donut and blueberry cake donut. But you can’t go wrong with any flavor!
I am also obsessed with their apple fritters! So big, with chunks of apple that are nice and cinnamon-y.
There’s nothing better than grabbing a breakfast sandwich, a donut, a hot coffee, and enjoying it after a weekend out.
They were able to supply our business with 12 dozen donuts very last minute during a morning rush. Employees were very friendly and the restaurant was clean. Would highly recommend

Food is one thing. The egg sandwich is great, but this woman with the tan straight out of a can is one of a kind. She asked me my name, and I said it about four times before she asked, "what is your name?!", veey rudely, and very loud, she spoke at me as if i was slow, or not one foot in front of her, and she seemed annoyed for no other reason but that my name is different, simple though, its "Wisdom" so I get it, it's not a common name, but don't disrespect me. Your attitude is deplorable, and you getting annoyed with me ordering a sandwich with roast beef and white cheddar cheese, on a bagel? is really speaking volumes. I did not enjoy my experience, she made it a teeth pulling experience to order a breakfast sandwich, its 8 in the morning so I get it maybe you're just miserable in the morning, but as always, I noticed that she treated the white customers with more grace, softer tones, kindness, patience, and understanding. Even now, the inflection in her voice has completely changed from the way she spoke to me, there she is she's telling everyone to have a great day! This is comical, all she said to me was, "napkins are on the counter" beeyatch. Won't be back
