This restaurant and Strait Street can be both really attractive for tourists. Savor Mediterranean cuisine that will combine many elements of culinary traditions. Come here for tasty grilled octopus, seafood ravioli and sea bass if you are hungry. Taste good cannolis, imqaret and apple crumble. Aaron´s Kitchen has delicious prosecco, beer or Merlot among its drinks. You will hardly forget great tea or good espresso that you can order. The warm atmosphere of this place makes customers feel relaxed and have a good time. The high ratings of this spot wouldn't be possible without the attentive staff. Cool service is something clients agree upon here. A number of visitors find that prices are affordable for what you get. It is noteworthy that decor is fine. This restaurant is rated on Google 4.5 by its guests.

Fabulous meal and service just a shame I had no room for pudding! Great home made bread rolls and garlic bread with traditional dip. The rabbit livers starter were tender and the duck was cooked to perfection with a lovely rich fig and almond sauce. Really nice roasted potatoes with fennel and just al dente enough seasonal vegetables all washed down with a crisp bottle of white Riocha. Highly recommend Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Bruscetta with Red Bean Bigilla
informal restaurant but with good and well presented dishes. Recommended for those who want to try good food. I tried the rabbit patties and the rice with garlic, oil and chilli pepper as a starter. As a main course, duck breast and octopus! really good! I advise! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Interestingly, they're not doing them a favor with the Michelin rating. To be clear though, it's a wonderful family owned restaurant with great food, good service, a nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. If they didn't have a star, I'd give 5 stars. But for a Michelin, you expect just a bit more. More precise cooking, more attentive service. So, overall, it's a great place to eat. Just ignore the Michelin and you'll have a great time. This place got us with the word M in the front. When peeking through, we saw a lot of crowd so nothing could go wrong. We were greeted with the unpleasant lady who said it was full and we could walk around to find some other places to eat. When asked how long to wait, she said it might be short or long but we were the first ones anyway. It was cold outside but she said no space inside so we gotta wait out till tables were vacant. We totally understood everything but it was the way she talked that irritated us. Sounds like she wanted us leaving but we did not. Well, we are so used to rudeness and M is for food, not the staff. We waited like 15 minutes and table was ready. We ordered octopus and rabbit to go with white wine. Well, well, well…the food was just ok. I might have high expectations. The rabbit meat was fresh and tasty. Octopus was soft and tasted close to one I had from the can. Sorry. Overall, one thing I have learned is award does not guarantee overall experience. Food was okay. Risotto was overcooked and dry, and lacked flavour. Seafood in pasta was fresh and tasty, but the pasta was overcooked and clumped together. Coconut panna cotta for dessert was delicious. Not sure if this place is Michelin Guide worthy... especially given its competition on the list. A lovely little place. Decided to skip the starter, but presented with complementary kidney bean dip which was delicious. Wanted to try the suckling pig, but they'd run out so went for the local fish - lampoku. Didn't disappoint. Followed by pistachio creme brulé. Two course each and a bottle of wine for 76 euros. It did not meet our expectations. We order from the menu of the day with rabbit with spaghetti, linguini with lobster and a shrimp tartare. All dishes were average. The rabbit was too sweet as a dish to the point of spoiling your taste buds. The lobster was average in taste and the prawn tartare was not properly marinated. The service just indifferent. The place was beautiful. We had higher expectations according to both the reviews and the Michelin guide. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €30–35 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
The food was delicious, some of the Maltese traditional flair done in a very good quality. There is a very limited chose of wine by glass, but there are more options of half-bottle. Many customers were going to G&T. The service is overall good, but the waitress seemed to be a bit lost at times, maybe she was a bit nervous. Let themselves down with poor service. The mixed seafood starter was superb, but after that went downhill! At a table for 4 they managed to forget one order and then overcook it in a hurry to get it served before the other 3 dishes went cold. Never asked if we wanted any more drinks and didn't clear any plates away, even when we paid the table was still full of used plates. Shame as could have been so much better.
