The wife and I visited this ACME today, the staff was great and store was immaculately clean. We both told store manager compare to the Manahawkin's ACME (smells and very dirty) how everything was great. 5 Stars grocery store.
We came for The RSV shots and had to wait for over 40 minutes. There was no one else here! Normally no wait! We have been getting our shots here for years . .
My family and I have been going here for years, even before the store changed in design. I had realized so many things that might not be noticed or just seem very strange when it comes to the quality of service, the food, the cleanliness and the prices. The issues I have here, well there is a few. First, many of the workers are a tad rude when you ask for help. The younger people seem to be kinder than many of the older workers who've been there for awhile or even years. Another issue is that The prices do seem to be unfair because a deal would be great if the price was average to other locations not placed at a higher amount. If you go to another store near by, like Walmart or the Dollar General, they sell the same product way cheaper and so when it goes on sale, the saving you see on the screen isn't really a great deal as the product is pricier than any other location. Causing the buyer to feel as if they saved so much, but really not. The next issue is that when it comes to the cooked food in the store, eww 🤢. I bought a few roasted chickens in the past and sometimes you think they look great, but get home to find that there is still raw and not fully cooked portions inside. The taste, the blood, the pink meat is not a great sign and totally gross! Another issue with the items I stocked at the store when they do go on sale is that they have it in stock and never put anymore out when the quantity is low. However, the next day when the new week begins and the prices change, it's fully stocked. So getting a great deal can be very difficult or what you want when going to this store. Quality is everything to me and those issues just make this place an unwelcoming and uncomfortable experience. I probably have a few more to mention, but these really are just the biggest issues I have faced at this store.
We were visiting the area and just wanted to get some Pellegrino water to bring to BYOB we were going to visit. I didn't see any. I asked a young associate that was very friendly but seemed a bit confused....never heard of the product.The store is old and not the cleanest. ...glad it is not my local store
