I had the soup and a combo meal with chevapi and chicken with condiments they brought and their home made iced tea , the meat was tender, juicy, the chicken had a very good sauce that pleased the tastebuds. Loved the food. Not the usual menu like the big chain restaurants. The portions were just right. Everything tasted awesome. Will repeat. Not many halal Italian restaurants in and around Hartford. So its a great place for folks who need halal options. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very nice atmosphere Well kept tables and dining room. Service was outstanding! Very personable and professional. Food came out hot and fast with no mistakes, large portions with some very tasty items that made just as good leftovers. My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant for an anniversary dinner. This is a hidden gem of Hartford with high-quality, authentic Italian and Baltic food. We knew this was the place to be when we heard some of the other customers speaking Serbian. We started with the spedini and I had a cup of the soup of the day, chicken and vegetable (not pictured). The specials of the day were either rack of lamb with veggies and potatoes or skirt steak, so I chose the lamb. They do not serve alcohol here so I had a peach mango mocktail, but they do serve a variety of sodas. My partner got the hadziski cevapi off the Balkan specials list per recommendation of our waitress and it was a phenomenal choice. The staff was very friendly and the portions of food were generous for the price. We are definitely coming back to try more, I’ve got my eye on the veal Adriatic the next time we go. Delicious! The best experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Best spot for halal Italian foods. I recommend their Adriatic Combo and Chicken Portofino! We wanted to try Albanian food; so imagine our surprise when we found this restaurant in Hartford, CT. The restaurant itself looked like a house with its own parking lot and was empty when we walked in. The hostess was a sweetheart who explained all the traditional Balkan dishes to us amateurs! We had the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. It was decent. For the main course, I had the Skander Beg named after the legendary general who took on the Ottamans. Granted I didn’t get his powers but enjoyed the unique meal. Overall I am glad we came and though they had Italian options, I’d encourage patrons to try on the Balkan dishes. It is their specialty. The only negative was that it took them one hour to prepare our dishes when the restaurant was empty. I’d rate them 75/100.

We had a great experience! Very beautiful setting, amazing hosts that make you feel at home, and to top it off the food was phenomenal, each dish inspires you with great taste, passion and talent.
