I couldn't find a better place in Edison for best Indian food. I completely loved the food and service. Had a visit on the weekend for lunch. The front desk girls very customer friendly and the goat biryani was great.. !!. Stop at this amazing place for good food. The food at this restaurant is decent. However, the service needs a lot of improvement. On multiple visits, the staff did not seem attentive to customer needs. For example, the advertised buffet hours were not followed when I came during the stated time period. Clear and accurate information about offerings like the buffet would be appreciated. Additionally, interactions with front desk staff have been frustrating, specially the short Tamil lady. She had very nasty attitude toward customers. Providing good customer service and treating patrons with courtesy should be a priority. With more focus on these areas, the dining experience could be excellent. Everyone should try the Thali being served from 6pm to 8pm. Unlimited on weekends, limited on weekdays. Whole experience is fantastic. Food is to another level. Make sure you go there really hungry. It's a lot of food to taste and eat. Service was awesome as well. One tip, go with a batch of people..once they start serving one bath of people. They cannot move over to next bath until first bath has been taken care. It's definitely lot of work for them. But a definite must try. The Amma's Kitchen next to Apna bazaar used to be a favorite spot for us..We visited the one at (1671, Oak Tree Road) .. very pathetic experience and disappointing...almost wasted $180. First the reservation hype that was created was too much.. after seeing their post I booked reservation for 4 (2 adults + 2 Kids) .. when enquired about the price they said $20 for adult, $13 for kids.. when we went we were told only 9 and below are considered as kids and everyone was charged around ~ $25 each.. ( defaulted including gratitude). The food was average, the people who served didn't know how to serve properly.. everything was kept one over another.. desert (kesari) on top of onion raitha 😠. I don't want to disappoint my kids as they are trying food in banana leaf for the first time.. I also placed a to-go order for mutton dry( Mutton Chukka) and Parota.. look what was served.. the meat was very chewy.. .. if you are taking kids please be cautious ⚠️.. again this is my personal experience.. it's hard earned 💰 folks pls spend wisely.. We spotted this board while shopping in the area and decided to stop over a weekend and boy were we in for a treat! We had the Banana Leaf - All you can eat! The dishes are based on South Indian cuisine and quite authentic. Very flavorful and not too spicy.children would enjoy this too! We went twice. Once for the breakfast buffet and the other for dinner.Breakfast buffet was good. Dosa and vada were really good. It takes time to get refilled but apart from that the breakfast buffet is worth it. They also do coffee and chai for the breakfast buffet. For dinner parata was good. We also ordered chicken pulav which was ok. Biryani was good not the best one but good one to try. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20
