I have updated my review after trying more dishes at this restaurant. I am a fan of their Sichuan/Hunan style cuisine, which is spicy and flavorful. There are many authentic options to choose from, and the prices are reasonable given the location, quality of the food, and portion sizes. We usually opt for takeout. Food was awesome. I’ve eaten at several Chinese restaurants in the area including some of my favorites, Queens in Mountain View, Grandmas kitchen, Soong Soong, and blue sky (my favorite but too far from my home) This one is going into the rotation. I got the sour cabbage and fish tofu soup. Tofu and fish were soft and flavorful. Second was the cauliflower with pork in hotpot. Again subtle delicious flavor with tender pork. Last was the cumin lamb. It smells very fragrant and when you eat it you taste the cumin but it isn’t overwhelming. It was a great balance of flavor.
