Applebee's always reminds me of a strange attic - stuffed with odd junk and wooden tables that look like they belong in an 80s era 'Long John Silvers' - but I loved the staff, and the suggestion of the mac and peppered chicken strips was dead on. The worst service I’ve ever had, probably anywhere. Numerous people were seated after us but got their apps and meal well before us. One couple sat, got apps, got meal and left before we even got our meal. Waiter sat and talked to the table behind us for at least 15 minutes. She clearly forgot to put in our order. 36 minutes into us being seated, our app came out. No apologies or anything. She threw the kitchen staff under the bus. I wouldn’t take huge issue in any of this if she was on top of her game or remotely friendly, but she was angry and complained the entire time. It was exhausting being here. Kristina L. was the waiter. TB#32. Arrived at 11:01. Check reads 12:02 when she printed the bill. Warsaw Indiana location* We ordered appetizers, they came out 2 minutes before our food. This was after we were there for about 45min. One of the appetizers was incorrect, even though we asked for it to be a specific way. We ordered the Parmesan steak and shrimp, the steaks tasted horrible. The only thing that was worth anything was the broccoli and the mashed potatoes. But don’t let that fool you, it wasn’t that great either. Our server was very lazy and would rather talk to her coworkers than check to see why our appetizers took more than 20 min to come out. There was a total of about 10 customers in the store, that was including the 5 of us. IMO, the service was very lacking, food was also very lacking, and though we complained, nothing was done about it. We will not be returning to this location, if at all any of them. It’s sad these days, this is one of the only places that our kids will all eat. I wouldn’t eat here. So there’s your review. 👍🏻 servers name was Riley.
