I purchased the dark chicken dinner with baked pototoe, butter, sour cream and sweet corn on Wednesday it was so delicious. So I decides to purchase it again on Saturday, awful, the chicken didn't have a smoked flavor and the skin was chewing. Also, is specific asked for sour cream and butter is wasn't included but listed on my ticket and the pototoe hard. Ordered the pulled pork, the turkey and the burnt ends. The food was so bland. No flavor. Had obviously been sitting out for hours as well and I'm almost certain the food was boiled. Not grilled. The service was terrible. The table wasn't clean when we were being sat and for pre-cooked meat a the ish took forever to get to our table. Would not recommend. Freaking gross. I bought the $22 9oz brisket burnt end plate, and chose coleslaw for my 2 sides. It came with 2 nice buttery toasted breads. We got a nice mound of brisket. It's enough for 2 people who eat moderately. I shared it with my 15 yr old. The meat was nicely sauced and flavorful...not much smoke flavor though, but it was still tender and delicious. Coleslaw was nice and creamy. This is my first time eating from this place. I ordered through Uber Eats. I am well pleased and satisfied. Very pleasant experience. Ribs were good. I've had better, but not in Missouri. And they even let us sample a salad dressing. Waitress was fun, but still professional. Let me start my saying the food was great. It was not at all what I ordered online. I ordered brisket, fries and a side salad and chicken, potato salad and corn. What I got after a very long wait. Ribs, corn and green beans and chicken corn and green beans. Like I said food was good. The service was slow and no one seemed to care if you had to wait or not. Almost rude. I was recommend this bbq place. The food was fresh, hot and pretty good the only thing I have to complain about was the portions they were a little small for the price of the brisket I got the dinner platter it was 19.99 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

It's a good local bbq spot. I enjoyed the baker and the brisket was very tender. Not quite as flavorful as Sugar Fire but it's an acceptable substitute if they're closer.
