Mooie en geweldige uitspanning naast Kasteel Vorden (dat ook bezocht kan worden). Leuke inrichting en gezellig terras. Bijzonder fraaie Kees van der Westen Mirage espresso machine. Dus aandacht voor de koffie zit wel goed. Koffiepresentatie met toefje slagroom met bodempje likeur. En het gebak mag er ook zijn. Vooral de appeltaart proberen! Lunch en dinersgerechten creatief verzorgd. Kortom een prima plek om even uit te rusten en de horeca een handje te helpen. Bezoek in september Na een weekendje Vorden zijn we na het uitchecken naar het Engelse festival in kasteel Vorden geweest. Op deze dag was het heel warm en na een aantal dieren shows waren we toe aan wat verkoeling. Dit vonden we bij Bosloods 1873, we vonden een plekje in de schaduw waar we eerst een plekje met een ander stel deelde. Het hele terras zat vol en het was echt spitsuur. Ondanks dat werkte de medewerkers keihard door en met een glimlach. We bestelde een pannekoek, de kroketten, de tonijnsalade en de Thaise salade. Al onze gerechten waren lekker. Aanrader: Thaise salade. De taartjes die we voorbij zagen komen zagen er ook heel goed uit. Mischien voor een volgende keer. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–20

You can buy 12euro ticket to visit the castle here in this restaurant. We ordered "Big" cappuccino and got Lovely beverage that goes together with the coffee and a slice of cake. Secluded location inside the forest of the Vorden castle. There was a very nice warm from the oven apple pie as well. The prices are cheap. We will return for sure.

Lekker plekkie naast het kasteel èn in het bos. Mooie sfeervolle zitjes en aankleding. Koffieverkeerd werd mooi aangekleed geserveerd (beetje weinig melk)- gebak was smaakvol. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Je zit op een fijne terras midden in het bos, vlakbij kasteel vorden. Het gebouw is uniek, wc goed te bereiken, modern en toch de oude sfeer behoudend. Bediening is erg aardig. Heb warme chocomelk en eigen gebakken aardbei-rabarbertaart gegeten. Bij de chocomelk krijg je een glaasje advocaat en een stukje kruidkoek. A beautiful location and well worth a visit but very, very slow service as mentioned by previous reviews. In the end I only managed to get one beer with my meal, despite asking several times, and we gave up and went elsewhere. It’s a shame about the slow service but otherwise it’s lovely Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €20–30

We visited this restaurant after the guided tour at the nearby castle. The restaurant keeps similar authentic atmosphere. Food was simple but great! They make their own bread, which was just delicious! Nice personnel and an outstanding owners!

Beutiful place to visit! Nice tasty food, and very friendly owner! A very recommended destination! If you want to visit a unique place in a historical location this a place to be! And the dog is extremly cute!
