Oldschool hotel but the rooms are completely renovated. I guess its a family business. Situated in the heart of the village, its a good place to stay if you need to be in that region. I did not have dinner there but the restaurant seemed full when i arrived. Breakfast is oldschool (you have to tell the day before what time you want breakfast,how you want your egg and if you want thee or coffee and they pre prep the table for you). Price-quality of this hotel is good. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person €80–90

Great place to stop over, nice and quiet. Room was excellent, really nicely set out, amazing bed. Staff are super nice and professional. Breakfast is pretty good too. Free parking outside, nice and easy to get to from the motorway. Highly recommended. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

After 12 hours & 500 miles from Denmark on a motorbike, the staff were a lot slower than I would have liked at attending to me (I was desperate for a shower & bed) but in fairness they were rather busy with the restaurant. €99 for a big & comfy room with a big & hot shower & breakfast included. It was a good investment & left me set for the remaining 300 miles home the next day. Oh, and they let me park the bike off the street, which is always very welcome. Cosy hotel at the east side of a tree rich square (actually triangular). It is very nice to have a drink, lunch or dinner at a table of their terrace enjoying the shade of the trees. Their dinner was quite good. The road on the north side of that square takes you to the ferry crossing the Maas river (500 meters from te hotel) resulting in a lively but not disturbing coming and going of hikers, walking the famous Pieterpad just there, cyclists and cars. The hotel itself is clean and light, the staff is very friendly, our hotel room was spacious and the beds were of good quality. Bathroom good and very clean. Only thing: the rolling of the church bell may wake you if you're not accustomed to it, especially at midnight. But there is a charm in that as well I think. The reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that a few times they made mistakes at the terrace we got some other table's dinner, they forgot to bring a bottle we had ordered and one or two other details.
