Real charming location with a nice terrasse and brasserie style inside with a eating area. Food is really good for the price considering the area and well executed. The monkfish and smoked cabbage dish is a definite highlight, flavour rich and soft fish. The vongole spaghetti is a simpler dish but again really well executed, tasty with lots of clams. Wine list is short but balanced - cheaper offerings are your standard staples but slightly upscale has good examples. Great place to meet friends for dinner. We all had good meals, the food was good and the staff was very attentive. We messed up our reservation but they still accommodated us and found a table for 5 for dinner. Great evening into the night, thank you! Great local brasserie and location, especially outside for sunny days! I found the starter menu more creative and inspiring during most recent visit. Mains were standard. Tasty and good presentation. Dutch shrimp was excellent, main fish was slightly over cooked and the sauce was too creamy for my taste. Wine list is good. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Very nice place. Great for outside in good or okay weather. Extra stars for the friendly service and reasonable prices in such a prime location. The bathroom could use paper towels. I don’t like those fabric towel dryers especially when it’s broken. The inside is huge. Outside is very open with nice parasols. We walked passed this place on one of our evening walks and decided to check if we can have a table for 2. We were accommodated and offered 2 menus, set and ala carte. The quality of food was of a very high quality and presented to perfection. The service did complement the fund quality. Great win choice, selected clientelle and great atmosphere. This was a locals eatery, a fine place. We had bread to start - delicious, followed by Goats Cheese - wonderful, my wife had a burger which was excellent and I had a beef stew - Oops it went a bit wrong there, the stew was not good at all and it felt like a rip off. Wonderful outdoor setting with a good amount of both sandwiches and entrees. This is one of our favorite places to dine outside in Amsterdam with a playground next to the restaurant as well as a view of the canal. The salmon sandwich was very good as were the tosties.
