We had a great dinner during the two for one month at Breakers. Parking is easy at the Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin but there are a couple of options in the surrounding area if you want to safe a bit. The service was attentive, food very nicely seasoned and tasted really good. The atmosphere in this beach club is very “Hamptons” like. A modern and chique beach club with good food. Not the cheapest around but definitely worth going back to! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

For a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide, we were disappointed in the service and value for money, with very small portions and elevated prices across the menu. Incompetent restaurant management. First the staff claimed that the restaurant is full and send hotel guest away even. The entire restaurant was empty (see foto). Once called out on the obvious fact that the restaurant is empty, the staff came up with a new story and blamed it on a technical issues. In total the staff was not believable and rude. Have tasted food on other occasions - it’s ok especially if you like mayonnaise. Location at the beach is beautiful. Meal type Lunch Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Amazing experience. Food and wine pairing were perfect, thank you Katia :) Wonderful 3 course lunch, each bite was a sweet dive into complex flavors from simple ingredients. No words to describe it. You have to try it! Lovely <3

Stunning views and suburb location. Food itself is also good but the service is really a drama here. In all these years we are visiting it, it’s still not improved. Making a reservation or not, you always need to wait. Yesterday 40 min. from arrival (20 minutes before we could have a seat while we reserved 2 weeks!!! ago) and another 20 minutes for the first glass of water (€ 6.50 for half a liter water ). Enough people are walking and serving but somehow it takes them super long. At a sudden moment I saw 4 people waving at the waitress. Also the playlist there were playing completely didn’t match the vibe and atmosphere from a beach club, sounded more like funeral music. My one line summary: majestic view but dramatic service and hence overpriced

Amazing location especially the terrace corners. Waiters super nice but you have to flag down the service. Fruit de mere is way over priced for the quality and quantity, I suggest the cooked fish options like sea bass or sole. they could take a lesson from Seafood Bar regarding fruit de mere / grilled value for money. The scenery is perfect for the Netherlands. Go for the experience.
