Red Cap is pretty near Santa Fe Old School Museum. Nicely cooked cheeseburgers, bacon and cajun fries are the tastiest dishes. Most likely, you'll return to this confectionary restaurant later to try delicious milkshakes or great tea. Unfortunately, employees are unprofessional as many visitors note. Our young waitress had a positive attitude even with the kitchens mess up but the blonde male waiter named James . He looked towards our table at least five or six times before he decided to bring us a menu. I don't know if he was high or just having a blonde moment, but he would stare at you and just look into the abyss while you're waiting for him to bring you a drink. We asked him for a water four separate times and he never brought it. The waitress waiting our table had 8 tables on her load that she was trying to wait on at once and he wasn't doing anything so we figured he could get us a glass of water. It was a simple request. This one lady asked him to bring her drinks and he brought her a menu and never returned. She got up and left and said I'm not waiting 30 more minutes for him to bring our drinks out forget this. The short older waitress and the young blue eyed waitress. I forgot her name. We're trying their best to stay on top of everything as they were very packed. An older tall skinny waitress with brown hair and glasses came over to the table. She had just clocked in and I said. I don't know what's wrong with that waiter. I guess he's having a blonde moment like i have sometimes and she got really offended and mad and stormed off. I'm sorry I call it like I see it. Sorry not sorry! If you're gonna stay over to offer your services/time to help witha packed restaurant, at least do your job where you're beneficial towards the wait staff that are currently working. Love eating locally and supporting small business. In general, food is good, place is clean and fresh prices are great. Have been there 3 times. The first two times I was satisfied . Third time I walked in and sat down. No one greeted us. The place was basically empty except for 3 gentlemen that had finished their meal. A man walked in 5 minutes after us and sat down. He was waited on and served water. We had still not been greeted or waited on. After 15 minutes of sitting there we left, just as someone was coming to give us menus. So disappointed.
