Walked inside and nobody acknowledged us. Felt like an outsider as we were just visiting the tiny town of Welch while skiing. Music was extremely loud and it was unbearable to be inside the place. We got one drink and left. Thankfully the drink was only 3 dollars. Great experience if you want to see a small midwest bar in the middle of nowhere. Bot a good experience if you actually want to stay for a while unless you like everything I mentioned. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Great local watering hole with friendly folks and a good selection of liquor to suit your taste. Will definitely go back!

Had a bacon cheeseburger here after kayaking. Didn't realize I was literally licking my fingers after the last bite. It was very good! Not bad for a 2 burner little grill behind the bar. A must try

Bald bearded bartender is nice as hell. Very hospitable & knowledgeable. Family friendly establishment with surprisingly large food menu for such a quaint nook. Welcoming to visitors passing through. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Will hope and try to stop by soon if I ever get feeling better, but it's not really looking great. Looking for some fellowship & a suitable volunteer opportunity, to be less isolated, more appreciated; also better housing condition.Not sure who'll read this and I'm sure you weren't expecting a review or message like this from an avg. 61 year old male. I welcome any advice or ideas. Thanks!!

If you are in the Welch, MN area and are looking for a great bar/restaurant. The Cannon River Inn is a place to stop. Have a drink and a very good pulled pork sandwich. A place for a good conversation. Stop in and say Hi. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Great watering hole off the beaten path. We try to visit a couple times a year. Food and drinks are really good and worth a try if you haven't been here. Bloody Mary's are yum, spicy style might make you breath fire.

Quaint local establishment. They hand make the pizzas! Great inviting atmosphere. Worth the drive.
