My favorite local "dive", Carol's is a great spot to catch a drink, watch some sports, and shoot some pool. The service is top notch behind the bar -- prompt and accurate. They've even gone to great lengths to track me down when i mistakenly left my credit card at the bar. Another perk: they don't allow smoking indoors like a certain spot across the way. I tried the place for the first time and wasn't impressed. The large blonde bartender asked me if I wanted another drink and then disappeared. No one else made my drink so I left. Won't be back. I'd rather go to the well across the street.

The bartenders and the bonuses are very racist. They do not want Black people in their bar, but they want Black people, money, and they card ID all Black people, but not white people.
