I’ve been here twice before, but yesterday was awful. My biggest complaint is that they automatically open a tab for you when you order food. I told the cashier that I didn’t need a tab, but she said she couldn’t close it that I would have to go to the bar or ask the server to close it. She wouldn’t provide me with a receipt because she couldn’t.
We received our food, ate, and the server never came back. Side note, I got the southwest chicken salad with a big chunk of chicken thrown on the side. It was not appealing or have the best flavor, the street corn was dry, as were the sweet potato fries.
The server never came back, and since my toddler was fussing, I had to walk up to the bar with my crying toddler, which was embarrassing. I stood there waiting for a while until two other staff members walked up to their register and asked them if they could close my tab. They did. That was awful standing at a bar with my crying toddler! I didn’t drink nor did I have a desire to. I don’t know why they started doing this, but it is not something I want to experience again, so I will not be returning.
In addition to this, the attitude of the waitstaff, the mess they leave after they “clean” a table, and their overall “I don’t give an f” attitude, is definitely a problem.

We had a company get together and this was my first time experience here and I have no say I really was impressed by everything and I took a walk around and really liked every game they offered I had a great time and the young lady that was taking care of everything was very friendly and we all appreciate her

The workers are amazing everyone was super friendly, Hard working and attentive!! We had fried chicken sandwich and gave it 5/10 It had no flavor seasoning it was just something missing We will definitely go back and try something else though. I love the environment and the workers!

This place needs an organization overhaul. It’s so confusing to order food / drinks / book / reserve & asking questions to the staff they even can’t seem to explain well or clearly because the system doesn’t make sense.
I’ve been to concepts that are big & open with QR codes on tables that you can open & close tabs & have food delivered to tables without standing TWICE in a line for 15 minutes to then be told they were out of something while I was trying to juggle kiddos & having to explain to kids who are waiting & hungry, that even though we stood around waiting they didn’t get what they patiently waited for. Also, that’s after I waited at the table for 15 minutes as I was told by a rental desk to “wait for my server at the table” to find out the server only did alcohol service. So literally spent 45 minutes wasted that could have been spent with family.
Could just be solved by having a system that lets you order from your table number & enjoy time with friends & family & they could have food runners & hasten service & move more product.

Different and fun. Capitalizing on the the newest raquet sport, Pickleball, this a great place for family or group events. There are outdoor, covered, and indoor courts. They also have courtyard area with outdoor connect 4, Jenga, battleship, ping pong, and cornhole. The restaurant is a bit pricey for what is offered and food was decent but you don’t really go for the food as much as the entertainment. Staff was friendly an pleasant. Restaurant clean.
Major issue in staff training - a couple of dishes were served in small cast iron skillets at the table. The waitress did not warn that the skillet was hot and there was no handle cover that would indicate that the skillet was still hot. My wife went move the skillet and burns the S**T out of hand. This just poor training on management part. The management and staff did apologize and gave us $15.00 gift card. 🤦♂️ Really important if you are bringing kids.
Overall nice and new. We will go back. 3 stars for the bodily injury. Hopefully better training

What incredible place. Popped in all the way from Frisco to check out open play and had a great time. If it were closer, I'd spend a lot more time here with the whole family.
This is my second time at chicken n pickle but first at this location. Casey at the bar was friendly, attentive, and quick! He even went out of his way to find us some koozies for our beers. Make sure to go visit him and also enjoy the chill atmosphere all together!
