Visited a few times, while we have not try all Italian restaurant, Clara’s its probably the best if not, one of the best in Illinois! Delicious food, love the pasta and spaghetti! We enjoyed the salad and the soup was great too! Even the kid love their food. Kid meal comes with a main dish of your choice plus a drink and dessert!! The kid love the ice cream! The Host is very helpful, Services is great! This place was between great and good! The food was good (they have a great selection) and the service was good. My dish was ok but the chicken was dry and my wife said the lasagna wasn't that great. I will say that the rest of my party did enjoy their food, which is weekly I have them a 4 instead of a 3 star. Nowadays, every restaurant (no matter the quality) seems to have premium pricing. This place had a fair price and actually felt like a real restaurant. It's very refreshing! My wife's retirement party was at Clara's . The food and service was fantastic!! Loved the Calamari,had three plates full😊 Clara's is 35 minutes from our house it was worth the trip. We love coming to Clara's. The food is always great. I love that the pasta and sauces are homemade and that kid's meals include a scoop of ice cream (so we don't have to spend extra money on those nights the kids want a treat). Though I haven't had it, the pizza is also homemade and looks really good. Overall, one of our favorite restaurants. Had a banquet and was overall happy with the service. The chicken here was delicious and well seasoned. I enjoyed their salad and the dressing it came with. The meat balls were overall nice just would’ve liked it a bit more cooked. The pasta was good overall. This my first time going to this restaurant and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing ! So fresh and full of flavor! The staff was so nice and friendly! The purpose of the visit was because it's my birthday and they made me feel special! The restaurant was nice and clean! Will definitely be going back!
