After looking at Immaculate Conception Church, have a meal at CLEO'S Mediterranean Cuisine. Visitors state that it's fine to go here for the Mediterranean and Vegetarian meal. To try nicely cooked hummus, lentil soup and hummus salads is a really good idea. This restaurant may please you with tasty creamy hummus, yogurt and flija. A selection of delicious wine, bourbon or cordial is offered to guests. You will enjoy good ice tea, lemonade or coffee at CLEO'S Mediterranean Cuisine. The competent staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. People mention that the service is cool here. Fair prices at this place are good news for its clients. I usually treat myself to takeout on my “Friday” and Cleo’s has been my go-to for the last couple weeks. I always get the burrata caprese, hummus, and Mediterranean garnish and it’s always out of this world. The freshness of the veggies and the portion sizes never disappoint and everything travels well via Uber. The only neutral feedback I have is that it is never the same- sometimes there’s different veggies or added peppers etc, but I generally take that as a surprise bonus, like a blind bag of delicious flavors that always hit the spot. One day I’ll go in person, but capitalism and being overworked keeps this as a long distance relationship for now. 10 stars. Food: 5

If I lived in the Crescent City, I would be eating here all.the.time. I've lived in Alexandria, Egypt twice, and this food fills a fül sized hole in my soul, while also being distinctly of New Orleans. The addition of hot sauce to the foul medames is brilliant, and the pepper oil in the tzatziki is flat-out inspired. In Egypt these foods would have been complemented with flavors that one can't always find in the US, so in true immigrant-fashion, they're spun into flavors from the local area. I would have been happy to eat this on my balcony in Sporting, two blocks from the tram, and I'm delighted to eat them on Canal, right beside the street car! Order a bunch of mezzes and enjoy the vision of the chef. شكرا!

This is, without question, some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had, far surpassing almost every sit-down restaurant I’ve been to. What struck me the most, beyond how amazing everything tasted, was how much care went into packaging the items. They had like multiple kinds of garnishes and sauces. It was really amazing. I absolutely love this place. We come to New Orleans a couple times a month and we always stop in here, usually more than once! The hummus, the chicken, the tbone!!!! Are ALWAYS a can’t miss! Took take out from here. The food wasn't good, the shawarma chicken wasn't shawarma at all. It was big pieces of chicken tossed in a pan or something. The price of items is too high for it's quality. Decent place when you've no other options. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
