If I could have done 0 stars I would have. Sent in a complaint about a substandard custom birthday cake on the website and the owner - Mitch called me back. HORRIBLE customer service !!!! . Not once did he apologize, he berated my complaint and then was patronizing. I told him I was at work and couldn’t talk long - he said “ well I am at work too.” He sarcastically said “ we are gonna crank up our standards and out out a better cake to make you happy “. Who does that ? I had to tell him again I needed to go but he kept talking. The cake was horrible. The decorations extremely poor. It didn’t look like anything on their website. The filling was non existent, the Mix in’s to the ice cream of strawberry and blueberry were minimal, there were no clear layers of cake and ice cream and the strawberries on top were so small. I even thought one looked made up with frosting. The handwriting elementary and didn’t even include a name. I can’t believe an owner would have such a lack of customer service. I won’t ever be going back.

We have been coming to the Algonquin Coldstone for several months and we always have a great experience. The customer service is great, product is delicious and the place is always clean. We recently got an ice cream cake from them for the first time and that was fantastic too. Highly recommend!
