Don't ever stop here if you happen to be going through.. there were 4 employees to which none of them greeted us.. my mother had to ask twice for a table.. they looked at us as if it was inconvenient. One girl finally walked us to a table that was surrounded by other customers and would be a tight squeeze for both my parents who both have walking canes with them.. the restaurant was less than 50% full with plenty of other tables, open and accessible.. so I asked for the other table and again we felt like we were the inconvenience as the host rolled her eyes.. I never received a refill on my water, which replaced the horrendous sweet tea they try to serve. You could tell all the food was old and not made same day. If I fry fish or make chicken and dumplings, FRESH, it would take more than a day for them to have the consistency this food had. Service Dine in Meal type Other

This is 3 times in a row the restaurant has been out of something to accompany the fried catfish. My wife's turnip greens might have been as much as a table spoon. The service was bad, with each blaming the other. I forgot to add it took over a half hour to get served. I've complained to the manager each time. However, nothing seems to improve. One more chance, maybe . If it happens again, we're through with the Caddo Valley Arkansas Cracker Barrel. Once might be okay. But, not 3 times in a row is not acceptable. It was a great Weekend Brunch, I enjoyed it to the fullest. The atmosphere was great and although we were sat in a different location this time it was okay to be next to a visiting basketball team that created more joy than I expected instead of the usual so I was pleased with the visit. I'm not saying this is something that I would like for us each time but this visit it was alright. Are all Cracker Barrel locations expected to uphold company changes for inclusion and diversity? I had not been to Cracker Barrel in years. The history of homophobic and racist allegations had kept me away. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised to see Impossible sausage as an option. When ordering the wait person replied, “oh we don’t do that anymore”. The response was unexpected and seemed to hold a story or meaning. We did a quick search to sort it out. Looks like in recent years a lot has changed at Cracker Barrel. An inclusion and diversity director was hired to help with their public image that had kept us away. Some of Cracker Barrel’s clientele have had a negative reaction to some of their favorable changes, including Impossible sausage as a menu option. Are the improvements made by Cracker Barrel optional at locations? What other intended policies is this location resisting? Good try Cracker Barrel. But you may need to check in on how your locations are accepting your evolution. Atmosphere: 1
