The waitress we had was very nice. I had an egg The wasn't cooked right, she took it back got me another 1, but my eggs was cold even after she brought me another 1, the other food was just barely warm, the restaurant was cold, I guess that the company thought it was going to get up in the high 90s-it only got inte middle 70s. The egg was suppose to be whites done and yellows runing, but the whites was part done and runing(it looks like snot and whom could eat that. I love a well run Cracker Barrel! Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. The food arrived in a timely manner, and it was hot. (I love the chicken pot pie😋 ) Overall, it was a very good experience here. We're in an RV, and they let us spend the night in their large back parking lot. Thank you for your hospitality! My FAMILY has been having breakfast at the CRACKER BARREL in JASPER, AL. the fourth Saturday of each month except DEC. for years. KAYLA has been our waitress the whole rime and she is OUTSTANDING. We love KAYLA and she takes care of us as if we were FAMILY to her. We also enjoy CRACKER BARREL at other times as well and as always it is a very good experience. This was the last of the three in my Cracker Barrel Run of 2024. I ordered a great meal and picked up a few bottles of root beer to enjoy later. I met the nicest employees at this location. I was treated like family. Due to extreme weather, I was allowed to stay until morning. Without the kindness of the employees of Cracker Barrel throughout this beautiful country of America, my trip would have been much more stressful. I would go out my way to visit another one again. OK, I just had the catfish here and it was great 👍!! I know I said that the catfish at another place was unbeatable, but, the fish here has to be a tie!!! The service and server were extra good and nice and all that stuff! 👍 The green beans, steak fries 🍟 and biscuits were very good. It was just a great meal all around! Even though we got there at 6pm and the sign on the door said they were closing at 7pm for their employee Christmas party, we were welcomed with friendliness and smiles and seated right away. We had been moving the last of my mother-in-law"s things from Fayette and had not eaten all day. We were tired, dirrty and starving. Our server, having heard this, brought our drinks and fresh, hot biscuists to our table first thing. 😀 For dinner, I had the meatloaf, mac and cheese and the new broccoli casserole. My husband and MIL had the cinnamon roll pie breakfast and loved it! (I have never had a bad meatloaf at any Cracker Barrel, btw!). I and MIL needed to go boxes. After filling up, off we went back on the road home to Gadsden! (I would have given a 5 for atmosphere if there had been a fire in the fireplace.) I'm surprised to report that this cracker Barrel didn't do it for me. Grits, eggs, was not seasoned well. Maybe that's how they do it here. Pancake presentation was not good. It came in backwards. See the photo. Pancakes was cold as well, but I still ate them. Not a good experience to what I'm used to. Maybe yours will be better.
