I have been buying there for years with my American Express card. Three weeks ago I used my Amex card for purchase but it would not complete, did not decline just would not finish. We did it several times to no avail. So I went to the Elmira St Dandy and it worked. So two days ago I went back to the Keystone Dandy and Bam, it would not complete purchase. In walks the Dude that works there reporting for his shift. The cashier, Jackie, who is wonderful BTW, asked him if he had any problems with the card and he asks if it was American Express. I said yes the same one I have used here for years. He says we don't take them anymore. I said the other Dandy does, he says I have nothing to say about the other stores and walks away. I did not appreciate his attitude and wondered why poor Jackie did not know about this recent change and WHY no signs????
BTW, why are so many people going in the Spring St Dandy without Masks???????
Last week, Dec. 26th I thought I would see if any signs were posted about not excepting American Express. I paid cash for my purchase, same ignorant dude so I said "I see no signs posted about not excepting American Express." "Nope I guess not" he replied. Really??? Banana Curve Dandy need to respond, do they accept American Express or Not! Mine did not work there but did at the other Dandies! Plus they need to address their very ignorant employee!
Dandy 2 is literally the best in the valley!! The boys there know exactly what I want when I walk in and they're so fun and friendly. They make it feel like a true small town convenient store!!
Small convenience store that offers made-to-order food. They have great coffee and the restrooms are usually clean. The one big drawback is their ATMs charge a fee.
