Came across this delightful coffee stop during a cycle tour in the Netherlands. Appelgebaak met slagroom was lovely washed down by top coffee. Mooi!

I didn't use any of the rooms so cannot comment. The staff were polite, attentive and very helpful. Speaking English and we only had some snacks due to the time of arrival. There is plenty of parking opposite and the venue is beautiful with a lovely layout. Well worth a visit.

Lovely evening friendly staff great food ideal location between Noordwijk and Katwijk just off the main road with plenty of parking Busy location and we booked, good value for money as you could call them slightly larger than large meals As with the main you get chips and a salad each so go easy on the number of courses you go for???? Great evening Thank you

This is a cozy restaurant which has a somewhat British pub kinda feel. There's both outdoor and indoor seating and it's dog friendly but the dog has to be sitting on the floor. We ordered starters and mains and were pretty full so didn't stay for dessert (decent portion sizes). I tried the Japanese fried chicken starter which was very basic (but accompanying seaweed salad was nice). The sea bass main was overcooked and quite dry, the salad and vegetables it came with were really good. My partner tried the soup (sweet potato) and it was a bit thin but delicious. The ribs for mains were excellent and some of the best in Netherlands. The staff was nice and attentive. There's free parking for restaurant visitors across the street. Overall, 8/10, would recommend. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great restaurant for a stop on a little cycle day trip out from Haarlem. The food was great and whilst English wasn't as common for the experience (and my Dutch is definitely worse), they managed to get everything we wanted without issue. Tried the spare ribs and a beef dish. Beef was delicious and amazingly soft. Spare ribs was also good but a bit dry. Decent quantity, but ribs are not unlimited. Nice ambiance. Has a small area for kids to play was well, which was great. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €50–60
