Nothing fancy about Danny's. Travelers stop there for a quick bite and go. I have stopped there many times over the years and have no complaints. I will say stopping at 7:00 a.m. last week, the waiter was a bit harried as he was the only one waiting tables. He did a gallant job of trying to keep all the patrons' dining requests met. This Denny's is normally pretty good with service and food, but my last visit it took an hour to get waited on and that was because me and other customers were complaining. I was told by the waitress, if I wanted my food faster it would be better to go somewhere else and they weren't busy. It was a disaster from the food to the service. The food is always hot, fresh, and made how you like it. Today I tried steak and eggs, and it was absolutely delicious! Service was great, food and server were fast, and they have a few new menu items worth exploring, like Hershey's chocolate pups. There's even been a little maintenance done, and the place was looking better. Busy late lunch on a December Friday and it was handled with no problems at all. Dining room was full of happy customers! I'm glad to see this, because Dennys is really trying. Check them out if you haven't been lately. Well worth it! Today, my order of food took over an hour to arrive at my table, appetizer arrived at the same time as the plates that I ordered. Waitresses and cooks were literally hanging all over the bar by the food counter, making poor remarks and conducting them selves improperly as well as speaking and laughing loudly while I was patiently waiting for my food. I had to get out of my chair twice to receive adequate service… my hamburger order was not placed correctly.. very dissatisfied with the service the last few times I’ve eaten here… Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
