Prices are typical for tourist attraction, we were seated shortly after walking in the door, ordered our food and it came out about 40 minutes later. The food was sub par for the prices, however the portions were fair and the staff worked fairly fast for the amount of people. Overall I would say this is just not a place I would eat again, the disappointment with my food would be the main reason for this. No where does it say they close the kitchen at 10pm so we never got to eat here, heard food was filling and good. They had the bar open til 2am. The workers were super nice and understanding. The atmosphere was ok, your typical country bar and dinner. It was kinda cute and personalized with writing all over the walls from people. Not sure if it fits a family dinner type of place. Overall overpriced and blah. The fish and chips were not good at all. The cod was overcooked and bland. The fries were a ball of mush. Assuming the grease wasn’t hot enough. The beer was good. We were here two years ago on our honeymoon, and stopped here today on our anniversary. They give you lots of food, but the menu is not too diet friendly! We chose chicken strips expecting homemade, and got pre-fab fast food. We both remembered the same experience last time! Too late. I had a Whitefish sandwich. It was good, perfectly prepared, onion rings were good, too. There's a sustainability fee on the receipt, I asked and was told that they hire students from other countries and have to house them, I think that isn’t my problem. Tired, wanted to order take out but they didnt answer the phone so we drove there. Small menu at night so we couldnt get what we originally wanted. Chicken fingers were basic nothing crunchy or special, fries were good. The hush puppies were way overly done and almost to crunchy to eat, but the jalapeño rangoons saved it all. $52 way to over priced. Not really worth it unless your into over priced bar food lol. Food was great! No real complaints there, other than the in house baked beans are a little too spicy and a little too watered down maybe, but flavor is there. The burger was amazing, the chicken sandwich was huge but awesome. In house ranch sauce beats hidden valley all day, not too thick, but very flavorful. Service was decent but had much to be desired. Our server did well with what we asked for, however, ( yes I understand it's tourist season, and they are very popular destination and quite busy; but she walked by our table multiple times and gave no inquiry as to how we were or how the food was or a generalized check in. Beyond that the atmosphere is quite pleasant, the writing everywhere is interesting but can be inappropriate when children read certain things. Price is about a solid 20 to 30 per person, so pricey but considering location and time of the year it checks out. Overall would highly recommend!! The atmosphere was amazing! Had a guy doing live covers of both classic and modern country music. Did feel like we got put in the corner and forgotten about. Ordered our drinks, app and food all at the same time. The food was good but I don't think it worth the price. Especially when you account for 3% surcharge. Great meals which are along the lines of elevated bar food.... Fries, chips and a lot of fried foods and options. Great atmosphere. Good service. A little pricey, but our potions were bigger in real life than the pics we found online. Had the double decker burger and the double decker Fried Whitefish. Yum yum.
