Arrived a little after 5 P.M. on a Tuesday afternoon. Wasn't too busy then. Plenty of seating was available. Our server was Matthew and he quickly provided us with fresh dinner rolls and peanut butter spread.Ordered the buffet with sweet tea and water to drink. The salad bar,choice of meats and side dishes were all very tasty and piping hot. Chocolate cake included as dessert. Went away stuffed! Also I might add that the restrooms were spacious and clean... Great place to eat home-cooked style food like your mother or grandma would have made you The staff is always very friendly. The place is always clean and you have to try their poppy seed salad dressing. We had the buffet lunch which included a salad buffet and assorted meats and vegetables and a couple desserts. The salad buffet was very nice. I love their broccoli salad. I also had boasted chicken. The noodles and mashed potatoes with gravy were a little bland. I enjoyed the bread pudding. They have a bakery, but we thought the prices were a little high. Went for breakfast because the restaurant had gotten a good rating. I was disappointed. My wife got the buffet - her eggs were brown from being overcooked and her breakfast potatoes had little to no taste.
