Phenomenal experience! From food to service I have not 1 complaint. Waited to go to this place because I thought it'd be a wait but absolutely no wait and it was Valentine's weekend. Me and my husband went here for our anniversary thinking that it would be very romantic, intimate, & quiet. None of the above is true. The pictures of the ambiance on the website are deceiving. It was extremely loud. We had to keep repeating ourselves to each other just to have a conversation. There's no privacy. The seating and tables are all packed together in close proximity in a big open area. My husband got the pizza which he liked. I got the 16oz ribeye & garlic mashed potatoes. The potatoes were delicious. The steak was a nightmare. I asked for medium rare and received an unevenly cooked steak with zero seasoning or taste. Truly amazing experience with private dining set up for our group. The appetizers were wonderful and the main course was an exceptional 8 oz sirloin so full of flavor that I needed no A1. Great flavors but skimpy portions. Will return on rare occasions, but won't go out of my way for it due to cost/portion ratio. Pizzas, for example, are mostly empty crust with a smattering of a few toppings in the center, and are cut such that each slice does not have all the representative ingredients, which is unfortunate. The pistachio goat cheese is delicious, but the ingredients are inconsistent (the first time had cranberries which was amazing, the second time had pears or something which was not that good). The crab elotes were barely 4 bites' worth and had more of a fish flavor than a crab flavor; what was odd was they put the entire shaved corn cob in the center of the plate as a garnish but the amount of corn on the plate looked like less than should have come off the cob. All in all an OKAY experience. They do flavors right, but the food needs some consistency and better value for your dollar. The wine we had was decent, but the mixed cocktails were watered down, so we'll stick to wine next time. Atmosphere-wise, it's the county in the midwest. It doesn't know if it wants to be a lodge, an industrial barn space, a stage-prop impression of a country club, or what. The lighting is nice, but the acoustics are terrible and it is very difficult to have a conversation as a result. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
