Vi spiste 6-retters menyen, maten var veldig smakfull, vi hadde ikke vinpakken, men fikk en ypperlig anbefaling om en vin som passet til alle rettene. Oh my. I've lived and eaten well in over 50 countries and tonight was a top 10 for me. Main course of salmon was exquisite - perfectly prepared, and the skin was crisp and light. Side of pickled broccoli, baby white radishes and cabbage was a delight. Easily our best meal in Norway and as I said, top 10 lifetime. EIGRA in Egersund - put it on your "don't miss" list. The sommelier went above and beyond to accomodate us. Food was great, with local ingredients. The 6-course menu was a pleasure. High points of the menu uploaded as pictures. Low points were the snack, cheese platter and chocolade. The taste was good, but presentation left something to desire. Something missing to make it special... Restaurant might be on it's way for a michelin recognition, should it step up by that little. All in all a very good experience, especially the friendly staff! Would recommend! Super place to eat! We had 6 course dinner, to our opinion the dishes were quite small but nevertheless super tasty! The staff was nice and friendly, the Swedish sommelier was our favourite 😀 Also Lisbeth, the receptionist who took our reservation was very helpful! Nytt besøk 27 mai 23, nydelig 6 retter perfekst sammensatt med noe fra havet og god kylling og kjøtt fra Nyyt. Nytt besøk 3. Oktober: 6 stjerner! Nok en gang konfitert ørret og grillet kveite, om mulig bedre enn sist 😋😋👍🥇. Denne gang Sjokolade og Bayleys fondant - absolutt fantastisk sammen med en nydelig dobbel espresso. Det er sjeldent jeg gir 5 stjerner 😋 Det var en fantastisk opplevelse! Restauranten er interiørmessig meget stilig og moderne med kokkene integrert. Personalet var meget hyggelige og profesjonelle. Maten var helt TOPP! Konfitert Sirdalsørret, risotto med breiflabb, Entrecôte og grillet kveite var alt meget smakfullt og flott presentert. Vinen som kelnerne valgte for oss var begge veldig gode og var utmerket til maten. Sjokolade og Baileys fondant kan også anbefales. Det var god stemning i restauranten som var godt besøkt denne kvelden. Tusen takk for en flott lørdagskveld! Vi kommer igjen. Idag var jeg innom for lunsj. Valgte en salat med bl.a kylling og bacon. Et ord -HERLIG! Nytt besøk på Eigra, ny meny var klar idag. Vi testet 5 retteren, ANBEFALES, HIMMELS GOD. Fish and chips, Risotto med sopp og kylling, lam, gulrotkake og blåmuggost med sirup, blåbærsaus, blåbærsorbet, kefir og biter av marengs servert med en fantastisk god cocktail.
