Edited 3/5/24 After today's lunch, 1 star was removed. The chips were fried in old oil, they were dark, and had that funky rancid oil flavor. Un-edible. The chimicanga was good, but the temp could be a little hotter. Seems to be an issue at both restaurants using convection ovens here in town. Wish I could reach out to the owner for a follow-up. I wish this place much luck. I hope it was just a fluke. It does have a great menu with better prices, so I hope they stick around! Great place for some authentic Mexican food cooked in a real kitchen. The owner is super friendly, and the service is great. Prices are super reasonable, which is a huge plus if you're dining out. Great menu and food. Was busy when I was there both times so far, but enough seating in a large dining area. So, no wait. I'm so glad there is a new option here in Lake City! WELCOME! Time for an honest review. Chips and salsa were good. Food was very mediocre. Didn't taste fresh. Waitor was nice but got our order wrong. I don't think he understood much English. Stopped in for lunch on a roadtrip. Super fast service and the birria tacos were out of this world!! Love that they include hot sauce with them too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
